West Fork fire complex at nearly 60,000 acres, entire town evacuated
The West Fork wildfires raging around tourist towns west of the San Louis Valley expanded across nearly 60,000 acres, and gusting winds were driving flames northward toward Creede, federal authorities said.

Can anyone in the area provide information about the status of Pinas Creek Road (just to the west of Del Norte)?

That road is about 14-15 miles East of South Fork and Del Norte has not had any evacuations. The fire is now moving North of South Fork toward Creede.
