Fireworks may have started fire near Lake Chelan

Fireworks set off by someone in a boat on the Fourth of July may have started the wildfire that burned more than three square miles above the north shore of Lake Chelan, a Department of Natural Resources spokeswoman said.

An older gentlemen who lives right across from the fire told me that when he saw the fire in it's beginning, he called 911. They said it wasn't their responsibility and that he should contact the DNR. Helicopters did not not show show until 2 hrs later, and foc used on dousing only the old vacated castle. Wonder what the DNR has told the media?
