Cody, Patricia and Marie. You stood up for kids and staff and ignored the ogre under the bridge even though, depending how much money you make a year, you still voted yes for Amendment 66. Why I say that is the statement that we hear in the TV commercials that an average family will pay an extra "$133.00"/year" if Amendment 66 is passed is a bit misleading. That's for an "average family" earning average wages. So for instance, Todd would be paying substantially more since his income is much higher than "average". That is why he voted against 66 not because of this nonsense of keeping money local through the mill levy only. Nothing else makes sense since this money goes to kids and teachers not the bloated administration (esp. the superintendent).
It has always been about Todd, for 10 long years, but the tide is turning and in this vote I see a glimmer of hope, honestly, transparency, and collaboration in the three current school board members and hopefully the other 2 coming on board. You heard your constituents and did the right thing instead of bowing down to the good old boys system of intimidation and fear tactics. And as for Tony being absent...he checked out as soon as he came onto the board. Just supported Todd. Yuk!

Oh happy days...I hope.
So do I

Is there a way we could retroactively term limit Todd Jirksa out 3 years ago?

Guess the dumb tax payers don't realize this is over $1 billion cost and you think " it's for the kids". Please. Give me a break.
Guess that means this district will be importing more illegal immigrants to count in their totals. No wonder residents are pulling their kids out. And they wonder why enrollment has been dropping....everyone except illegals!
