Notes on quakes indicate that this is a transform fault on the South Atlantic ridge a little north of the Bouvet triple junction.

The relatively large (~5.0) quakes appear to be transform faulting, and are relatively distant from bouvet.

Bouvet sits on the Antarcic plate side of the African/Antarctic ridge on the other side of the triple junction.

Will keep watching that space.
