Maple Pool is a functioning community which if shut down will only add to the number of people who are completely homeless and living on the streets. Surely Council's responsibility is to support those who have found a place to call home instead of creating more homelessness in this Valley. In my opinion closing it is unconscionable. Better to spend the money being wasted on lawyers on finding ways to improve the flood protection in that area.
