Growing up in Liverpool, the Beatles took pieces of all the pop music they could find - country, Motown, rhythm and blues, rockabilly - and turned it into rock immortal. Full Story

Facsimiles on display? Who made that asinine decision? I'm really glad the Field Museum doesn't have a similar philosophy.

So .......... why don't we just stay home and look at them on the web, for that matter. It is like going to the museum, and looking at models of dinosaurs. after I found out they were just that ... models, I never went back.
just fax us the Beatle stuff. I'm going to make a sandwich.

Paul was and is over-rated anyways. John had loads more talent than sissy Paulie McCharmly. Too bad John was the one who was shot, Paul should've been the first to go. John's contributed more to the world than girly Paul ever has now alive.

Hey you little dimwit.John was good but so is Paul. They were both great in the Beatles.Paul has been much more sucessful than the other 3 Beatles. They all 4 contributed so much. You can't put down Paul because he was the other half of Lennon and McCartney the two most famous team of song writers ever.It was sad John got shot but for you to say too bad it wasn't Paul shows your immaturity seriously.I could say too bad he didn't miss and hit Yoko instead but that would be just as cruel wouldn't It?

The Jackson Family are tributing Michael on October 8 2011 in Wales. That is too suspicious for me because John Lennon's birthday is October 9th and he was half Welsh. In Wales October 8th is really October 9th over there. They are doing it on John Lennon's birthday why? This is to unbelievable. For people who say Jane is wrong or crazy what is the explanation for this. I'll tell you why John Lennon daughter has to get her inheritance and it is in the Jackson estate because Michael hid it for years with the approval of Ono. No the daughter will not show up there or anywhere the Jacksons or the Beatles go. They need to go to jail for fraud. Ugly F.......s. What is it they figure John Lennon birthday is perfect time. You got to be kidding.

The music business is no good and will never be any good. Amy Winehouse dead now a druggie. That is what the price of fame does. These music producers are crooks and are pimps. Women are to be pimped off and are so desperate to make millions on records that they will lower themselves. Jlo is one of them too. She spits out men like nothing. Walks around naked and is getting too old to bare her stomach. This music business is like the mafia. Crooked, crooked! From here on in she will run wild and probably become an alcoholic and get a giggalo. She is a loser!

i must say that i strongly disagree. you obviously know very little about the actual dynamics of writing a song, being a musician, being a talented musician, being a top-notch musician, playing from the heart, yet alone being in a rock and roll band, let alone the top rock and roll band, that was the best in england at the time. and of course let alone being in them beatles. long story short. you weren't there, you couldn't possibly know. and i'm sure that Sir George Martin would strongly disagree with you, on all counts.
