One distressing fact remains. When Katrina happened, Bush did a quick flyover, then returned to continue his vacation.

"Once again, a myth concocted by liberals to destroy Bush personally and drag down his presidency has been proven false. He did and does care about people. People of all races. The dignity of every human being a a creature of God matters to him. He did get the job done during Katrina".

Attention you bloated wolf tick!!! Wrong. President G.W. Bush had the sense and decency not to interfere with rescue attempts, etc. When opportunity presented itself he came to New Orleans and spoke. The guilty parties? The democRat Governor and the nitwit mayor of NO who is now under indictment.
When you reside in a flood zone and a newspaper and PBS comes along and does a huge documentary on a Hurricane vs New Orleans and predicts the results then it's always time to evacuate. But no scooter, the 9th ward tooted their horns at a hurricane one too many times and splish-splash...And I bet you thought all along that President G. W. Bush was a frogman and he blew up the levees...didn’t ya’ scooter?

I'm getting a big sign that sez: "BAN PRESSURE COOKERS." Then I'm going to congress and I'm going to spend 4 months bashing everyone who owns a pressure cooker all while I give two terrorists responsible for murder and mayhem a pass. One way or another I'll see to it that certain pressure cooker models are banned and I'll limit the capacity of all pressure cookers.
I'll have every housewife-pressure-cooker-nut pass an enhanced background check. And no pressure cooker owner will be allowed to give their pressure cooker to anyone including their own daughter until she passes an enhanced background check. And if the daughter decides to give the pressure cooker back to her mom then mom will have to undergo a criminal background check...Failure to comply would be a 3rd degree felony.
Yes you'll still be able to use frying pans so this common sense legislation does not step on your right to cook a meal. This is past due legislation to curb an out of control pressure cooker culture...And I can't wait to fly on Air Force One.

After reading the article the Libs are going to have to call her racist or an Uncle Tom or Aunt Tom in this case. Even though Bush did right, they will never admit.

Since many of us here posting were not directly impacted by Katrina, and ALL corporate media, albeit left and right, disseminate facts according to their corporate sponsors whims, I find it refreshing a staunch democrat has taken the high road of praise for Bush's handling this disaster.

His handling of the economy as a whole can never be brushed over quite so easily - everyone has felt and seen the results of his poor economic judgments.

Bush chose not to land so it wouldn't delay any relief aircraft coming in, dkhead. Aircraft was going in and out of the airport at a high rate and the landing of Air Force one would've delayed support. Of course, you lack of intelligence wouldn't know that.

You, clintons, nobama and the rest of the demorats coldn't shine his shoes together..

His handling of the ecomomy and attempting to ward of the damagae done by fannie/freddie was blocked in the senate by Dodd/Frank 5 times. Had he been allowed to regulate it and get it under control, he would have put a stop to the housing crunch..

Jimmy Career, Bill Clinton, Dodd/Frank and the demorats caused the recession....Bush's tax cuts kept it from getting deeper...google it, progressive genius.

Bush was smarter than all those numbnuts put together.

Attention LatrineInLa!!! You reveal a great sense of tumor.
Of course, under Bush and that inept FEMA schmuck, Katrina response was slower than Sarah Palin's wit.

I would never think Bush was a frogman, for two reasons:
1- He would sooner hire someone rather than soil his paws.
2- I like frogs.

Do you also dispute the fact that Bush returned to his vacation after waving at Katrina?
