Taney County tax issue: Resident urges library support
It has been my privilege to live in several counties in Missouri. All of those counties, except my home county, have had a tax-supported public library.

I think Taney County needs a library. It might make the community a bit smarter and there is certainly no harm in that. Might also make it easier for kids to check out a book and read instead of playing video games, doing drugs or killing something. Just a thought...

the good thing about this tax is you get your money back by just going to the library and checking out a couple of books or DVDs. Think about it!

This tax will cost my business over $450 a year, I don't think I can read that many books!
