Stephen Wood has helped to preserve the memory of a snow disaster, The Blizzard of '77 and deserves credit for doing so.
My book, White Death The Blizzard of '77 published in 1978 does the same thing in its 400 plus pages with about 70 classic pics of what Presidennt Carter declared as a Major Disaster. See the pics at www.whitedeath.com and listen to emergency radio broadcasts and survivor stories. The DVD about the storm is excellent for teaching survival lessons in a disaster. Then you can see why I advise people to, Beware of snowflakes!
