Assange asylum 'may harm Ecuador'

Ecuador's ambassador to Washington has expressed concerns that granting political asylum to WikiLeaks founder Julian Assange could be used to discredit Quito in the US.

Shame on Ecuador for protecting a fugitive and offending the judiciary system of a respectable country like Sweden; I hope time will bring the proper deserved consequences to a country which could not resist the chance to jump on the front pages all over the world.
This narcissistic short sighted decision will surely harm Ecuador's relations withe the rest of the developed free world.
