i have a question,to whom is "tigrigna" desreved
to eritrean or tigrian, i have friends from both claiming the launuge but to me the tigrians look right
1/ tigrigna is seems to come from tigray
2/ as antient civilaztion was at yaha and axum probly the power still goes to them
3/ b/se the were feudals of the region until yohans fourth and alulu and had superioreity probavly they impose their languge on others
4/ the eritrea poeople is various nationalities ,idon't believe a minor race only can impose its laguge on better populated race.
but i don't have document article to prove my guess can any one tell me

You are right, abebe.
In the western quarter of Eritrea live the Kunama and the Beja who have both suffered a lot from the civil wars in Ethiopia and in the Sudan.
The eastern half of Eritrea is Qafari.
The central quarter is a northern extension of the Axumite state of Tigree, from Massawa on the Red Sea to the Tekezze river.
In the northern mountains, in and around the town of Keren, about a hundred thousand of the original population of the Abyssinian Highlands flourishes. They are known as the Bilen or Blin and there are a few other 'islands' of these "original Abyssinians" scattered throughout Amhara and Tigree.

So the obvious solution would be autonomous republics for the Qafari, Tigree, Kunama, Beja and Bilen.
Then Eritrean Tigree could form a united republic with Ethiopian Tigree and Eritrean Qafar could join Ethiopian Qafar.- End of border disputes.
Is this beyond the wit of two engineers?

If you are dumped by accident, it could be bad luck. However, If you really immigrated to New Zealand by choice, your intelligence level could be at the level of the sheep you're herding. Grade two student can have a better analysis dummy.......

Easy to criticize, Kinfe. Much more difficult to find something acceptable to all sides.

Well, what about you abebe. Can you tell us what you think is the right story.

I don't agree with the story that the sabeans(Arabs) brought the civilization to abbisinya. In fact it was the other way around and it's proven.

But abebe, i'm interested to know Why you brought this historical topic to this nasty semi political discussion forum.

What is your motiv? What is your question trying to prove?

since we are taking about a time frame in history roughly between 5000bc - 800AD. Can you tell us who was Habesha or Abbisiniya or even tell us what the socity at that would have looked like.

maga, can u tell me the story the other way round,if there is.
as to me tigrigna deserved to the poeple of tigray.
simple fact.
can the beja ,kunama, bilen, anseba, hamasen,b arka, tigre claim tigrigna theirs i don't think.out of the 9 nationalities may be the "seraye" poeple can say we are abesha and orginal tigrigna speakers as far as the rest eritreans the have come with with their orginal tradtion and lauguge.this just like the southern ethiopia poeple speak amharic.maga like it or not it desrves to the poeple of tigray.but you have to know this is not to undermine eritrean poeple but was opresed for 3000 yrs that is the only cause just like the "argoba" poeple in ethiopia just they have already lost their tradtion.but sorry to say
