He was WRONG, and yet still tries to cast blame elsewhere. Good riddance.

It was not a free speech issue. No one stopped him from expressing his opinion and since he has no "right" to a job his employer took action to protect their interests. Accepting responsibility and being held accountable can be such a bitch...

Funny how the gun gnutters scream about the 2nd Amendment (which few even know the words to) but fight so hard against the 1st.

It is a free speech issue.

He was silenced for expressing it.

He certainly was not silenced for expressing it. In fact he is still discussing it - hence the current article. He was however fired for making statements against the interest of his company.

My company would fire me in a heartbeat if I made comments against their best interests in a blog or in the newspaper. Claiming free speech would be of no use and I would remain unemployed.

Advocating for treason is by no means a "right". It is in facts a CRIME.

United States Constitution, Article III,§ 3,“Treason against the United States, shall consist only in levying war against them, or in adhering to their Enemies, giving them Aid and Comfort. No Person shall be convicted of Treason unless on the Testimony of two Witnesses to the same overt Act, or on Confession in open Court.”

Under federal statute, a person guilty of treason against the United States “shall suffer death, or shall be imprisoned not less than five years and fined under this title but not less than $10,000; and shall be incapable of holding any office under the United States.” 18 U.S.C.§ 2381.

Advocating for the violation of a Constitutionally secured right is most DEFINITELY giving "Aid and Comfort", not to mention "adhering to their enemies".

>You< ARE an "enemy" to We The People. And can most certainly be held out as a traitor.

I am sure Guns&Ammo wanted to execute him but were talked out of it by their lawyers.

It is a free speech issue if get fired for offering your opinion.

Especially if the people you are working for insisting they are for constitutional rights.

They (guns&ammo) had the right to fire him because they didn't like the tie he was wearing. But the rest of America can hold them up as hypocrites for firing him for expressing his opinion which- no matter how hard you stomp your feet- is a first amendment right.
