Or wasn't there any...

He should be a rich man by now. Able to open a business, keep himself indulged as he sees fit and even donate n some fashion to help murdered and exploited children. I haven't heard a peep except John Ramsey crying poverty.

Seems kind of strange, unless the secret settlements were nothing more than part of the grand illusion.

If you noticed, after the Burke Court TV settlement, Court TV began regularly airing Tracey's pro-Rams crocks, for at least a year. Everyone knows that was part of the agreement. They got their propaganda aired by a network, viewed by millions of people, worth A LOT in getting their theory across to the public who may comprise a jury pool.

Everyone also knows the Rams themselves gave an interview after THEIR settlement with the Enquirer, as part of their settlement. The Enquirer's audience is also in the millions. Lin Wood was always smart about that kind of publicity for them, as part of settlements, "in kind", as they say in Economics compensation.

That may have been what the settlements were, non cash directives, which for obvious reasons the Ramseys would want to keep hush hush.

It's sad because as a brother Burke Ramsey doesn't appear to give a shit about his baby sister or what was done to her. He's never expressed an interest in helping to fight the injustice of sexually abused and murdered children. He'd have the power and ability to help a lot of people if he chose, but then he'd have to be 100% honest and he never can be, the secret settlements took care of that.

There wasn't a mention of JonBenet on his MySpace page, when he had one, or, to this day, on his FaceBook page. No, he never mentions her or does anything for murdered kids.

Why should he mention her? He was "getting on with his life" just days after her murder.

If Burke was in any way responsible for what happened to JonBenet, could he kill again? I think he struck JonBenet in rage and hit her with all the gusto his frustration could manage.

I would be afraid of him if my daughter brought him home. Burke grew up in an atmosphere where justice was not regarded. His parents promoted the perversion of truth and reality. He is a cold-blooded person to show no regard for a dead sibling.

Regarding Burke, recall that when his mother was finally being questioned and videotaped she lashed back at the detective saying something on the order of "Dont go there!!!". She got real hot under the collar when Burke was brought into the conversation.

Burke's interview with LE, from "The Bonita Papers":

BURKE'S INTERVIEW

On January 8, John and Patsy took Burke to the Child Advocacy Center in Niwot, Colorado, through arrangements made by the Boulder Police department, to be interviewed by Dr. Suzanne Bernard, a specialist in child psychology. As is customary in interrogations of children, Dr. Bernhard played a game with Burke throughout the interview and the entire interview was videotaped.

When left alone with the psychologist, Burke appeared to be at ease and even told the doctor that be felt safe, even though he did say that he had not wanted to come that day! Dr. Bernhard thought it was unusual for this child to feel safe. "People in this entire town didn't feel safe with the concept that there was someone running around that could be snatching children, and this was his own sister and happened in his own home. Generally speaking, a child who goes through this kind of trauma, where a sibling or a family member has been killed, they don’t feel safe.

Burke described his father as quiet and that he was "always at work", and that his mother "worked as a mom'. The thing he liked most about his mom was that she gave him lots of hugs and kisses, and the thing he liked most about his dad were "planes". Throughout the interview he showed little warmth towards his family, but at the same time was very protective of them. According to Burke, the worst thing they did was not buy him, expensive toys. Dr. Bernhard explained that most children in interviews will discuss things about the family that angers them even if they love them, but Burke appeared to have difficulty in opening up about his family, similar to children who can't say things, because they feel that there are some things they shouldn't say.

Social Services had previously provided Dr. Bernhard with some history on Burke which indicated an ongoing bedwetting problem, but Burke denied this saying that it happened a long time ago. Children are usually honest about this in interviews, and Dr. Bernhard wondered why Burke was not.

[Burke's Interview, cont. from "The Bonita Papers"]

Many of Burke's other responses also created areas of concern for the doctor. Burke displayed an enormous amount of lack of emotion, almost to the point of indifference, which Dr. Bernard explained may be attributed to shock, but could also have been a lack of attachment to his family. Since his mother had appeared very emotional when she brought Burke for the interview, Dr. Bernard thought that perhaps Burke could not deal with the family’s emotions and had therefore just withdrawn. Even in response to questions which should have elicited strong emotions, he remained non-expressive. When asked “How have things been since your only sister died?”, Burke responded,“It’s been okay.” And when asked if he missed her, he said,“Yep.” Burke continuously told Dr. Bernhard that he tried to forget about things and just play his Nintendo.

'When asked to draw a picture of his family, he drew a father figure who was distanced from Burke, a mother figure which was the smallest figure in the picture, and JonBenet was not in the picture at all. Dr. Bernhard interpreted the drawing to suggest that Burke felt his father was not emotionally available to him and that his mother was insignificant and did not have a great deal of power. Dr. Bernhard thought it extremely abnormal that JonBenet was not in the family picture at all, since her heath had occurred only 13 days prior. Most children continue to include deceased siblings in family drawings years after the death because it is too devastating for them to think about the loss. Burke also told Dr. Bernhard that he was “getting on with his life.”, another very abnormal reaction for a child who had so recently lost his sibling.

When specifically discussing the crime, he related that he did not hear any noises that night and that he was asleep, but he admitted that he usually hears when someone opens the refrigerator door downstairs. Dr. Bernhard asked what he thought happened to his sister. Burke, showing the first signs of irritation during the interview, responded, "I know what happened, she was killed.” Burke's explanation to the doctor was “someone took her quietly and took her down in the basement took a knife out or hit her on the head." He said that the only thing he asked his dad was "where did you find her body", a highly unusual query from a child considering the possible questions a child might ask about the death of a sibling.

Dr. Bernhard felt there needed to be more follow-up with Burke in the discussion of sexual contact. The only show of emotion by Burke, other than the irritation with the questions about the actual crime, was when Dr. Bernhard began to ask about uncomfortable touching. Burke picked up a board game and put it on his head an action indicating anxiety or discomfort with these types of questions and that there was more that he was not telling her. Dr. Bernhard asked Burke if he had any secrets, and he said,“probably, if I did, I wouldn't tell you, because then
it wouldn’t be a secret.

Once again, KK, a labor of love to post all that information for those who will eventually come here and say that it's the "Bonita Papers" and they should be discounted, failing to mention the FACTS within these papers, regardless of how they were gotten.

The following says sooooo much:

"....Dr. Bernhard thought it extremely abnormal that JonBenet was not in the family picture at all, since her heath had occurred only 13 days prior. Most children continue to include deceased siblings in family drawings years after the death because it is too devastating for them to think about the loss. Burke also told Dr. Bernhard that he was “getting on with his life.”, another very abnormal reaction for a child who had so recently lost his sibling......"

After reading that and hearing a NINE YEAR OLD BOY, the NINE YEAR OLD BOY who couldn't possibly have the ability to commit this crime or keep a secret say that he is "getting on with his life" and believing he was NOT coached by his parents on what to say is just plain ignorance.

I'd be willing to bet that BEFORE the murder, had Burke been asked to draw a picture of his family, he would have drawn one without JBR in it, but that is just my opinion of course

Burke, IMO, holds the answers, along with Fleet White

Thank you for posting it and going through the effort that only a few of us will appreciate

Capricorn, there are several responses Burke had that I find highly suspect for a 10 year old to come up with on his own, even under these circumstances.

Burke did sound coached, to me, if what Bonita wrote is true.

Fleet reported that on the drive to his house that morning, he asked Burke questions to which Burke only replied "Beep beep", mimicking the sound of his Nintendo.
I suspect Burke's a sociopath. He only showed interest in the interviewer's watch, wanting to know how much it cost. Not your typical 9 year old boy, IMO. He appears to be without feeling.

Even if the Bonita papers are in doubt, there is enough information about Burke's responses and behavior after the murder overall that shows Burke has some "issues" to say the least

I agree. He was a child who seemingly was not particularly fond of his sister to put it mildly and stays indifferent even today. Yes, sociopath comes to mind, but I believe the apple didn't fall far from the tree. Look at his parents!

Well, they dismissed him as much as he dismissed them. If he had anything to do with JB's demise, they had no fear of him spilling his guts as demonstrated by his ability to be left alone at the funeral, and to be taken to the White's that morning. I don't think I'd be too confident leaving a nine year old with anyone that might ask questions because there's a good chance your average 9 yr old can't keep his emotions secret, even if his mouth is telling a lie.
His indifference is rather alarming, whether he had anything to do with this, heard something, or not. I've never met a 9 yr old that wasn't both curious and sensitive to turmoil in his home. I'd expect him to ask why police were there, at the very least. He didn't seem the least bit interested, and that is strange if not abnormal. I wait for the day we hear of Burke Ramsey connected to something 'unholy'.
