John Ramsey is innocent. He is a good man. He loves his children. He did the best he could when JB was killed. He isn't perfect. He messed up along the way. He admits it. He didn't kill his daughter, but his oponents have set up this forum to bash & lie about him. Don't believe a word they tell you. Read jonbenet by Steve Thomas the cop who worked the case. He will tell you himself that John B. Ramsey DID NOT KILL HIS DAUGHTER! That is straight from the jack as'er horses mouth. THE COPS SAY JOHN RAMSEY IS INNOCENT OF THE MURDER OF HIS DAUGHTER TINY TOT MISS JONBENT.

Fact: if the people of Michigan want to vote for John Ramsey, they should do it because they know he will be better than the other candidates at serving their needs. So far, nothing John Ramsey has done has proven that he deserves office. Someone who is unfamiliar with the most basic laws of the state he wants to serve is unfit to receive taxpayer money from that state as a salary.

w_n, JR got derailed by PR. He's trying to fulfill his mandhood. But he doesn't know he's on a different track.

I for one am glad he tries to go on with his life. The more public his display of Karma the better, for me.

He deserves it.

Why would you believe anything Steve Thomas said? He paid out to the Ramseys without a fight when they sued him, and sold out his own first amendment rights to boot. I don't doubt for a second John Ramsey would happily let the whole world know how much $$$$ was paid to him on Steve Thomas's behalf, but Thomas would fight to the last, just like he did to make sure no one ever read his sworn statements. He hasn't been a cop for 10 years. The DA in charge of the case has NEVER cleared Ramsey.

What a liar.

Candy solicited help for the fight that she claims ST did not put up......but because he didn't put out for Team Darnay - she now stalks him in a different manner.

Hey BrotherMoon - have I got a girl for you.....

Candy, why do you suppose it was that the Ramsey's sought to settle the lawsuit against Steve Thomas? MOST IMPORTANTLY, why do you suppose that under the terms of the settlement, NOT ONE WORD of Steve Thomas's book was changed? If he was lying, WHY DIDN'T they make him take the book off the market? Why didn't they have ALL the remaining books destroyed? Why didn't they DEMAND the book be changed to take all the lies out of it?
If someone said I killed my daughter in a book he'd written, I'd make DAMN SURE that the book was stopped. Not only wasn't it stopped, NOT ONE WORD was changed. That's VERY telling in MY book....

Could it be that the Ramseys decided to settle rather than open themselves up for discovery that might have brought more information to light, information unflattering to themselves?
I have a BIG problem with them settling this case - that tells me a lot.
The settled for MONEY only. Anything Steve Thomas wrote that reflected badly on the Ramseys was allowed to remain in print. What was it John said when questioned about the fibers from his shirt being in Jon Benet's private area -'You're trying to disgrace my relationship with my daughter.'- Yeah. And Steve Thomas's book was VERY unflattering of Patsy, but that was allowed to remain. Again, that tells me a lot.

Oh, that's right, they settled for money because all that money meant they could do great things with the Jon Benet Foundation. Oh, wait, um, scratch that.

NO BOOK IS EVER CHANGED when a libel suit is settled. They wanted cash, they got it, a LOT of cash. Steve Thomas is gutless to the nth degree and Fox News showed how easy it is to win WITHOUT HIM OR FLEET WHITE, neither of whom were on Fox's witness list, dragging your suit down. He was able to run for office the next year, and put in $80,000 cash of his own money for his bid.

Fruitcake.

What's Darnay's excuse for being a loser then if not to blame Fleet and Steve?

And "He" - I'm assuming that you mean John Ramsey - had plenty of money NOT related to the pennies from Steve's Publisher....because He, John, had a publisher that would lie for him on the back cover of his (John's) book regarding proceeds of that book going to the JonBenet Ramsey Foundation......and YOU flipping know this to be fact. Yet - there you are again off on one of your pathetic manic monthly moments. At least now, we are spared your insanity during your alleged working hours.

Candy - are you saying that the Ramseys couldn't have held out until it was agreed that Steve would either stop publishing the book, or made sure that changes were made in the book? The end result is that Steve was allowed to continue to publish information that fingered Patsy for this crime. Why do you think that was, if they wanted justice for Jon Benet?

No book is ever changed? OK, but if the book is so off base, and full of lies, why oh why would the Ramsey's settle for a dime when they could ruin sales by coming out and exposing ST for the liar they say he is? Why agree to keep details of settlement a secret? Shouldn't the wronged party have the right to publicly nail the author of this libelous book?
I still don't know what is in ST's book that the Ramsey's could sue over? His opinion? Or, did he use JB's picture without their permission?

I totally agree with you. I know of several books that were actually pulled off the market for various reasons...

And the truth is, you have no idea whether it was $1 or $100,000, do you?

You know all that other money didn't go to Burke, they sued on his behalf, doesn't mean the kid gets the money. Just proves he isn't as poor as he claims to be. How much will he put in this time - if he can get beyond the driver's license issue?

Amazon has it as a pre-order still and it was due out April 1st. She was served with a 60-page lawsuit by Lin Wood (rep Howard Stern) on the day of her book launch party - April Fool's Rita!

did you catch Howard's interview with Greta? If I'm not mistaken, he alluded to Larry being gay. He said Anna knew about Larry, and I don't think he was talking about him being a photographer.
