When you have sunk to the bottom, the ONLY place you can go is UP !!!!
Is there a particular reason you left ONE WORD out of my quoted post about the restaurant? Other than that question, your post makes no sense in reference to what I was talking about.

Not that it is any of your business, but we were discussing a forum get together next week, and the restaurant of choice for Tuesday was changed. There, that better? Do you feel more included now? We do this every year or two. Any other questions? The place was changed about a month ago as well, do you need to know where it is going to be since Washington DC is no longer the destination? Let me know, I will be happy to fill you in.:)

Yes, there WAS a reason I left out one word. And if you can't figure it out, it figures.

As for the remainder of your post, I was privy to SOME of it and could put two and two together from what Capricorn and Seuss said to figure out what was going on.(Not that I was interested, but it was no big secret.) You just wanted to shout it out and try to make me jealous that I won't be there. But when I eat out I like to enjoy the company and I certainly would not enjoy the company at THAT get-together.

I've had the pleasure of eating at some of the best restaurants in the country with well-known celebrities, so your little get together really holds no interest for me.

<quoted text>I have always regarded Alex Hunter as fair and just, and very keen to make sure there was no rush to judgement. Hunter always said that you don't prosecute if you don't have enough evidence, which is true.

The Boulder police and FBI had no evidence against the Ramseys, except that the Ramseys were in the house when it all happened, and that Patsy might have thought she was Sandy Stranger.

It's true that Alex Hunter did disclose to Globe boy reporter Jeff Shapiro, once, that Fleet White was under an umbrella of suspicion. I wouldn't call that corrupt, and it resulted in Shapiro being chased around the roads of Boulder by Fleet White in a reckless car chase.

That was after Steve Thomas had illegally disclosed goodness knows how much confidential police information to the media, and probably to Fleet and Priscilla White.
Henri, I always appreciate the depth of knowledge you have regarding the case. Would you e-mail me, if I give you my addy. I have a proposal that may interest you...

No responsible FBI agent would say such a thing. The FBI profilers were consulted early on by the BPD and set the BPD on the wrong course.
You're exactly right, FG.

And you have the audacity to say "I" am the one who reveals PM's.

Yes, I do have two nephews who are pilots and you remembered my telling you that in a PM. So much for confidentiality of PM's.

Okay. I'll email you if you give me your addy. I'm afraid I have lost your addy when you mentioned it before on this forum.

I like the way you can mask your identity on these forums by using a hat. I'm a bit wary of making contact with people who might pass on any personal information I might have to anybody who does not wish me well. I'm one of those rare and strange people who like to be left alone in privacy.

There used to be a private forum of 'Fleet did it' posters years ago, who included Mame, Holly, Morgan and Mary. I think that is now defunct, or it is now never mentioned on any JonBenet forum.

There have been a few cases in the UK where something somebody has said on something like Twitter or Facebook has been reported to the authorities and those people have been imprisoned. I think people should have the right to reform and to criticise institutions, even if they now don't seem to have the right to protest without being beaten up or jailed by the police.

I have had some strange computer crashes in the past, as well as attacks by computer viruses. I don't know if that happens to everybody. I've usually managed to recover the computer from that, but it makes me a bit suspicious of anybody who might want to do that to my computer.

My email in box also fills up all the time with the most astonishing junk mail from fraudsters trying to obtain my bank details, and telling me I have won the lottery, which I always delete. I also don't know if that happens to everybody.

A piece of advice henri

BEFORE you email anyone you don't know, and I'm not saying you can't trust mama (before that becomes an incident), but since you are rightfully nervous about it, you should open an email that is "disposable" like aol, yahoo, etc under a name that isn't yours and use a nickname if you want like the one you use on the boards. It becomes a throw away email and your real email address and name stays secure.

Just open a disposable email account if you are going to correspond with other posters

I have created an addy specifically for correspondence with Topix posters. It's a hotmail account, and it's super easy to create one. I have NO personal info attached to it. I used my "hat" as my name. You could do the same...

<quoted text>I'm not going into that old, tired argument all over again. The Ramseys did not refuse to cooperate. If you don't understand, or don't WANT to understand, the politics behind that situation by now, you never will.
I have read the Ramseys' book as well as three other books on the murder. Surely, if it were my daughter who had been killed, I would have braved hell and high water to tell the police all that I knew in order for them to start looking for the guilty parties. John and Patsy were capable and stable enough to go in front of the CNN cameras; I should think they could speak to police officers. But they knew they had nothing to lose and much to gain by appealing to the public. However, during interrogation, they could slip up and reveal truth they wanted to keep hidden. Their actions did not suggest innocence. At least, that was the opinion of the FBI, apparently. Don't tell me they cooperated. They had only to drive to the police station and say, "Here we are. Ask whatever you will."

Just what is that truth and what is the evidence of that truth?

Your remark has nothing to do with the fact John and Patsy Ramsey failed to go to the police station for an interview when asked, yet showed up on a national newscast ready and willing.
