Well, that brought a tear to my eye....FOR JONBENET!

Poor, poor John. Funny, I wonder who's private plane he's been flying around in? Either he just recently sold it, or he's lying (oh say it ain't so). We've been seeing him fly all around the country visiting Burke and Beth Twitty when they were an item.

So when did he sell his plane? Just when did he become so poor? I'm gonna barf

Gee, here is a novel idea:

HOW ABOUT GETTING A JOB JOHN????? HOW ABOUT "EARNING" A LIVING LIKE THE REST OF US BEER CAN COLLECTORS?

He's been unemployed for 12 years. Such a brilliant mind and he couldn't find a job? Oh, please spare me the sob story

At the very least, with all his own brilliance, he could have opened his own business (again) and then the excuse that nobody would hire him would just sound as stupid as it is in reality

So here we also have John being grateful that the DNA finally "exonerates" him, but still has "lingering suspicion" about someone he still is willing to throw under that bus, DESPITE the fact that the DNA doesn't match

I wish they would make up their minds

Gee Mame, I bet you could hardly contain yourself when you found that article! I'm surprised you didn't put a bow on it for Henri

Still throwing those innocents under the bus are we John?

With all those fine fine qualities in a man, I can't imagine why some lucky lady just hasn't snatched him up

I have to look into the "selling" of the private plane he was so recently traveling about in. Let's see if that is true. And if it is, remember folks, he had that plane for 12 years and IF he actually sold it, it was very recent!

Also wanted to add that it's nice to see that John still handles things like a champ

When things aren't rosy, take a benadryl.

When your daughter is brutally murdered, stay in bed for two days, get yourselves really stoned and HENCE, the police investigation into the MURDER OF YOUR LITTLE GIRL just MUST take a back seat to what NEEDS to be done to find that killer

Such fine parenting skills and then the gall to whine about what happened, when they were responsible for all that happened

Their priorities were always the same: ME, ME AND ME and they haven't changed!

Did you cut out the article and put it under your pillow to caress at night Mame?...my precious, my precious

Excuse me... John Ramsey wants to use the speck of a speck of degraded incomplete dna to vindicate himself yet uses the same to convict others who don't match.

The DNA can't be dated to the crime. If the DNA is male why did they check JonBenet's little Boulder girlfriends? And why to this date have they not checked friends from Charlevoix or Atlanta? She was found dead wearing size 12 Bloomingdales panties that said Wednesday and no other in that size or set were found in the home... They weren't her panties. Find the original owner and the RAMSEYS ARE THE KILLERS.

"As we talk, it becomes clear that John is, in a sense, only partly present, his deepest feelings hidden behind a scrim where no one, least of all himself, can see anything but shadows."

He's hiding the truth about what happened.

He never was a captain of industry, just lucky. Access Graphics must have had some good employees as well because he was prone to loose important business tools such as emails and cell phones.

and Burke... seemed like a lengthy interview and there was no mention of the Melinda, John Andrew, or grandchildren... as though they have finally come to terms with the obvious truth.

Still no questions or answers about the dolls he had his sister in law remove from the crime scene or the duplicate doll delivered to JonBenet at his office after the funeral.

Good Lord, doesn't anyone know who Lucinda Franks is? The wife of Manhattan DA Robert Morganthau, ONE OF WHOSE PROSECUTORS WILL BE WORKING WITH THE NEW BOULDER DA. Another calculated, SHREWD move by revolting Uncle Johnny.

Candy, what do you mean working with the new DA in Boulder?

Franks is an outstanding reporter...in fact she was the youngest journalist to win the Pulitzer Prize.

"These three folks will be folks I work closely with on just about every major decision the office has to make," Garnett said Monday.

Brackley served 14 years as assistant district attorney to venerable New York DA Robert Morgenthau in Manhattan. Morgenthau chose Brackley from the 450 lawyers in the office to be one of 20 senior trial counsel in the homicide investigation unit.

Brackley, who came to Colorado in 2005, is now a senior trial deputy for the 18th Judicial District, which encompasses Arapahoe, Douglas, Lincoln and Elbert counties. He is lead counsel on the murder case of Jose Rubi-Nava, who is accused of tying his girlfriend to his car and dragging her to her death in Douglas County in 2006.

Robert Morganthau is nothing like the hacks in Boulder. HE GOES AFTER RICH PEOPLE ALL THE TIME, A LOT RICHER THAN RAMSEY. No wonder Ramsey had to get a pre-emptive strike in. What a SLEAZE.

Well, this is six degrees of legal separation. Not a big deal IMO.

How could Ramsey "use" Franks for a so called pre-emptive strike? What would he be pre empting?

You don't just walk out and choose someone like Franks to write a story about you! She's is very high caliber reporter, it's doubtful she'd be interested in a 12 year old cold case....unless there was real news in it....

She was not only the youngest person to receive the Pulitzer Prize...but was the first woman to receive it.

Lucinda Franks is a former staff writer for The New York Times, and she has written for The New Yorker, The New York Times Magazine, and The Atlantic.

Franks is also the first female winner of the Pulitzer Prize, for her reporting on the life and death of Diana Oughton, a member of The Weathermen, an anti-Vietnam war terrorist group,[1] winning the Pulitzer Prize for National Reporting in 1971 together with Thomas Powers.

[2] A graduate of Vassar College class of 1968, Franks discovered that her father had been a secret agent during World War II, and wrote a book about it, My Father's Secret War: A Memoir, in 2007. She lives in New York City with her husband, District Attorney for New York County Robert M. Morgenthau.

From what I've heard about Garnett, he's outstanding and fully supports Lacy's exoneration of the Ramseys.....

I'm shocked she has a husband. It almost sounds, via her descriptions and drooling, that she was courting him herself. This is my favorite:

"...his wavy hair the color of cornstalks in winter; he is smooth and genial, even debonair..."

GET A ROOM!

Good grief...If she got any more descriptive, we'd have to start blushing!

Nelly, once again, I'll get the Kleenex and start bringing the bugles!

Do you think about her a lot? "NO NO just occasionally when a pleasant memory comes back". Not many pleasant memories, that is very telling.

You've got me there Mame; I usually DON'T read the sort of description of "hair the color of cornstalks in winter" when talking of these issues. THOSE are reserved for the romance novels you are obviously familiar with

Personally, I read Stephen King, Ann Rule and a few other true crime authors

Stephen King comes closest to anything this case has offered, with its law enforcement "not of this earth"

Thanks to the FFJ posters:

Okay Mame, please explain just WHO is lying:

http://flightaware.com/resources/registration...

As of today, October 14, 2008, John Ramsey still owns his plane

However did such a prize winning author not check her facts? Or did John have two planes?

Thanks but the credit goes to FFJ, where I just copied the information.

They are good over there. If you want a few more facts, they are there as well on its own thread regarding John's new interview.

Why_Nut has weighed in on a few facts of his own

It seems the "website" that is attributed to John Ramsey's own, is not owned by John Ramsey at all

It is owned by other people whose initials just happen to be JBR.

You'd think a Pulitzer Prize winning writer would check more facts BEFORE things go to print

Mame, perhaps you should let her know, especially after making you look so foolish, singing all her praises like you do

Such a huge breaking news item...John Ramsey owns a plane. I'll be damned....

Now THAT'S incriminating...

He's lost two daughters, a beloved wife...AND FFJ is having a tizzy over de plane...de plane...
