??????????Yet another missing college student has been found drowned in the Mississippi River on 2-16-10 Craig Meyers from La Crosse, WI. He was at a wedding reception and then went out to the bars. You can read the story at www.weau.com The police say only one set of footprints in the snow to the river again. I def. think a serial killer is responsible for all of these river deaths.
Um.....Dan will connect the obvious names, it fits.
The names of where the man went and was found ???
Yet, below the police say there's no serial killer ??
Could this be a copy cat crime ?? Someone who reads these sites and picked the right name and place or just a coincedence ?
I hope it gets a real investigation and it's not just pushed aside as an accident. This is sad. They all are. But, how did he get away from his friends and end up so messed up ?? So stoned drunk ?
I wonder if police will tell the truth about any -- not suppose to be there, type drugs ? It makes no sense ?---------
THE PAPER SAYS :
La Crosse Police Chief Ed Kondracki released the following statement Friday afternoon, addressing rumors of a possible serial killer connected to Meyers' death, and the drowning deaths of 8 other men in La Crosse:
"The previous river drownings have all been thoroughly investigated and reinvestigated by the Wisconsin Division of Criminal Investigation and La Crosse Police Department, with a review by the Federal Bureau of Investigation. There is no serial killer!"
"Police officers and (Operation) River Watch volunteers have saved over fifty people in recent years who were either in the water, or on the edge of, or attempting suicide in the river. Some cases are nearly identical to this case."
"To the rumor mongers: Please show some respect for the Meyers family and the men and woman who police our streets. Wild accusations of a rogue cop, long-range hypnotists and seductive females, or national smiley-face gangs are simply beyond the pale and demeaning to all."
