we'd just come off the OJ case where DNA was all the talk. Patsy mentioned OJ within the first five minutes of her CNN interview, so we know she watched the trial along with the rest of the country. It is not a stretch that someone desperate enough to write a 2 1/2 page 'ransom note' would be desperate enough to think on their feet and stage all elements of the crime.
DNA transfer was explained back in 1995, we all understood it and believe me, so did Patsy and JR.
But I don't think it was "planted." I think it was simply a sub-cellular artifact which could have come from so many sources, it's futile to even try to locate it.
Unfortunately, O.J. and the Caylee Anthony case have taught us if a jury doesn't want to convict because they like the defendants, they'll ingore all the evidence in the world except that which they want to believe--even if it's fairy dust.
