I would like for those of you that have been on more than one forum (JB) to Rate your top five or Ten,depending on how many you have visited or been on.It think that would be interesting to the rest of us.
I hope all you oldtimers to JB forums will participate,I think this would be fun for everyone.
Comments would be welcome also.include those that have shut down in your list.

From my perspective FFJ has the most extensive library on this case. Websleuths is also excellent. I am completely disregarding weBBsleuths because of its sliminess.

Topix is good for an argument for both sides and the mods are very good at letting one say what they want.

I understand Sycamore is an offshoot of CL, but who would post there because you have to watch every single word. And one more time, who the hell does Freshwater think she is.

Crimelibrary....Sycamore.....H ere....and registered some time ago at Webleuths as Fenton...make one post, I believe, then got sidetracked on another case.....and most recently Webbsleuths..........Crimelibr ary became almost a family type of atmosphere..with the normal arguments, hurt feelings, yet at the end of the day everyone still cared about the other poster! I hope Sycamore continues with that same family atmosphere with the room for some heated arguments, if it doesn't I'll quit posting......but, I've not been on this case nearly as long as most of you ole timers have!:)

I'm sorry I haven't replied to Jack about this matter before. I was having a few computer problems.

The code on the right of the writing box wasn't coming up. I thought I had been banned for a few hours. I was trying to think what had so upset topix all of a sudden.

I've worked out it was something to do with java script. Somebody in the family was doing something to the computer to protect it from a computer virus that's supposed to be going around to do with java script.

I think there have been several good JonBenet forums in the past. Some of the now defunct forums, like Justice Watch and Rose''s Voy forum in about 2003. There was a, I think it was called Halle forum, was interesting until it suddenly vanished off the internet a few years ago.

There is some interesting stuff on Purgatory forum in their archives.

When I first started on the JonBenet case I only used to read at Jameson's forum. That's still a safe haven for posters who are IDI, and who can't stand the heat in the kitchen on an open to all forum like topix.

Forums for Justice has some interestiug information on it, like the Ramsey Atlanta 2000 interview, and the first Nancy Krebs police interview.

There are, or were, some small JonBenet forums like the ACandyRose forum. Jayelles had a JonBenet forum. It's just I'm not too sure how many people ever read at those forums. There are probably some other forums as well, but I have never been interested in reading the postings on them.

There are supposed to be some private JonBenet forums. I know nothing about those because they're private.

Cybersleuths used to be an interesting forum but it has sufferd in the past, a bit like Purgatory forum, from all the Candy bashing and Mame bashing that went on a few years ago.

This new Sycamore forum seems quite interesting, if you can find it. Most of the Court TV forum posters have switched to it, after the rumors that Court TV forum is closing down.

I must say I approve of this topix forum. You don't immediately get banned, or put the wind up a moderator, as soon as you mention the names of Fleet and Spade, like on some JonBenet forums.

I have tried to post letters to newspapers in this country in the past. I have never had a single letter published. I think there must be an art to it, like not being too controversial.

In my local evening paper in the past there were one or two letter writers who managed to get their letters printed every couple of days. In the past my mother, when she was alive, used to write to the local paper. She always seemed to manage to have her letter as the star letter of the day, for some reason.

The thing I like about this topix forum is that if you make a posting you can be pretty certain that it will go through, unless you say something which is obviously unacceptable.

I try to glance at all the JonBenet forums daily.

I always start with FFJ, if that tells you anything. I love going back on their older threads and reading. Jack, you could really learn a lot there.

To me,'FORUMS FOR JUSTICE' is the absolute cream of the crop of the JBR forums. The long-term posters over there have done such an an incredible amount of substantial case research that it it simply awesome.

'WEBSLEUTHS' is also excellent, as well as the

'CRIME & JUSTICE' JBR forum moderated by "Little" (Peggy Lakin) who also wrote a very informative book on the case: "Journey Beyond Reason". Peggy Lakin is one of the best moderators I've ever come across on a forum.

CRIMESHOTS' would deserve far more attention also, as it is serious and offers good case material.

The 'CRIMELIBRARY' forum offers a good place for debate as it has an interesting mixture of RDIs and IDIs.

These are my top five.

Webbsleuths
Crime library
Topix
acandyrose is excelelnt for all kinds of information.
Remembering Jonbenet has lots of pictures
Starting over was a good site but it has closed. I don't know why. Problem with that site was you had to wait a long time for anyone to post.
There was a Sundance site which was intersting.
There are lots more bbut you have to wait days before a new post appears.
FFJ is good too.

I like reading at most all the JonBenet forums, but I have to agree with RiverRat that JW pre mystery woman was my favourite.

I find Topix interesting because some of the subjects that are taboo at other forums are brought up and discussed (or argued) here.

Also like FFJ and Websleuths.

FFJ for me is home and in my opinion, next to ACandyRose has the most extensive information and documentation on this case in its ENTIRETY. I say that because Jameson has quite a bit of case info also, but it is not complete. Much gets omitted and "translated" when the documentation is not favorable to the Ramseys. Just the way it is. One doesn't have to take my word for it. Read the info at ACandyRose or FFJ and read it elsewhere. You'll see for yourselves that it is entire without omissions and translations that you might find elsewhere

Henri,

I originally started on the old Halle's forum. Eventually it shut down because of Rose (blast from the past). She was continually banned, etc., but became so intrusive anyway, they just closed down the forum. Even when she opened her own forum, she intruded and created havoc on all the forums. Eventually, technology became more saavy and she was able to be truly banned from most forums. Yes, THAT's how long I've been at this :)

I then went to Websleuths where I still remain a member and now to FFJ and right here on Topix. I scan them all daily.

The truth is that the BEST forum on this or any other case is the one that one personally prefers

I suppose you are the poster on FFJ who believes Patsy 'sacrificed' JonBenet with the help of the fictial character Sandy Stranger?:-)

LOL - go ahead....I'm in the mood for a good riot today!

This forum is fine for mixing, but forums like FFJ and jameson's are more productive without the heated debates. But since none of us have anything new to go off of now, this is a good place for refueling the fire that keeps us all around sooooo many years later.

I suppose you are the poster that misunderstands and misinterprets my posts and then argues against your own misinterpretation by using made up words like fictial.

Well I might as well put my two cents worth in about forums.
I really like this forum, but then I've never been on any of the others.Topix has a lot of good people on it from both sides,we have a lot of good discussion and debates.
I would have never come here or any for that matter, but you know why,so we will leave that right there.
I appreciate all of you making the list that's really interesting.after everyone has posted.I may actually look at some of the more popular ones-Maybe.

Even getting a "maybe" from you is some progress

You might be surprised how interesting the other forums are but be careful; you may get addicted like the rest of us

Apparently Rashomon is the flavor of the week around here. What is your problem BrotherMoon. I have been reading Rash's posts for quite some time and I have never found Rash to be anything near rude.
