I'd be interested to know just what it was the public found out about -- just who this person was that Tracey was targeting even before Karr was arrested or cleared. Source?
It was Gigax and it came out on one of his crocumentary shows. I think it is on both WS and FFJ.

Apologising again for going awol after starting this debate.

Part of why I am annoyed with Tracey for going back to this case is that there are some genuinely horrifying media issues that would have been far more apposite to a ThisisLondon conference. The Murdoch press and News International having abused the auspices of the free press to the extent that the free press is threatened springs effortlessly to mind. I don't see how someone with his public service media expertise can leave that issue alone.

In terms of the Gigax and JMK thing, I feel he was doing exactly what he accused others of doing (in such a self-righteous tone). Had JMK been involved, Tracey's involvement could easily have compromised the evidence that was admissible. If memory serves, he got on rather well with Jameson who was doing vile things to the Pugh family and the professional reputation of Foster and soliciting evidence to be sent directly to her. Basically, there was a massive double standard running through his work.

Why do you RDI's continue to defend Gigax, a convicted child sex offender and drug runner? I can tell this....he is not just a suspect in the Ramsey case but several other murders as well. He is not the saint you and Tricia paint him out to be and he probably wasn't even investigated due to the RDI's.
Nobody claimed he was a saint, or even a good guy. He is a Nazi sympathizer who may only appeal to a select few and I don't know anyone (well perhaps one poster) who would sympathize with that.

Having said that, there are a lot of bad guys out there. Gigax may be one of them, JMK is another and plenty more. However, unless they are involved in THIS crime, to continue pointing the finger at either one, or anyone who was not involved just because they are bad guys or crazy or delusional elsewhere just muddies the waters.

There was no need to investigate Gigax any further than they did if he is not considered a suspect.

Not to mention being irresponsible! Just because he is on some list the IDI are keeping, LOL, doesn't make him a valid "real" suspect.

The point about Gigax is, it's one thing to be a Nazi sympathizer, but it's a WHOLE DIFFERENT MATTER to have a DEAD CHILD, YOUR DEAD CHILD, in YOUR basement. Gigax has never had that. Gigax was just as outraged at being thrown under the bus, BY TEAM RAMSEY, as every other innocent victim was. Why shouldnt he be? Tom Bennett said he was never a suspect on the police's list, it was just Lou and Tracey's list he was on.

So, either Foster was initially wrong and then corrected himself or was making a play to get close to Patsy. At some point he gave the Boulder LE his literary evidence, similar to Thomas' inadmissible evidence, and was rebuffed, possibly in such a way as to suspect Boulder LE of unproffessionally dismissing the evidence.
If you read my thread on Bill James book and chapter on the Ramsey case, he says Foster's report was over 100 pages long. I have also read, but don't know for sure, that Foster testifed before the grand jury. Alex Hunter fired him after finding out about the fax to Patsy Ramsey.
