Speaking about money and power, there was ANOTHER "no show" at the Tom Miller trial, whose big money lawyers at Newsweek got him out of having to testify how HE ended up with a copy of the ransom note in his publication, Newsweek. That was the PRO-RAMSEY journalist Dan Glick.

"Nick of time" actually bears very little resemblance to the JB case. I've never seen the movie but here is a recap:

Because of the DNA evidence and Lacy's exoneration it is now accepted in the mainstream media that the Ramseys are innocent. Even Carol McKinley hedges when the DNA is mentioned. As for James Kolar, this was a grand opportunity for him to gain some exposure and all he is doing is agreeing to be interviewed by Tricia again--WOW! Same old boring interview...I guess we will get to hear that he is at home that he is busy and has to run all over again. I admire Kolar greatly but someone needs to get him a publicist and some Gatorade.

Yes, she was so upset she probably named her book Scream Baby Scream in memory of Jonbenet.

I was trying to listen to the rest of the latest podcast on this case, and I want to address something that keeps coming up. A poster is acting like it's some big conspiracy that Steve Thomas, A POLICE OFFICER, had to not look and walk by some phone records. THAT EVIDENCE WAS ILLEGALLY OBTAINED. He can't use it, reference it, NOTHING, they are protecting that officer and his testimony by having NO ACCESS to that illegally obtained evidence. ANY COURT IN AMERICA WOULD THROW THAT EVIDENCE OUT. There's no "conspiracy" to any officer being SHIELDED from ILLLEGALY obtained evidence.

Also, Mike Kane had subpoena power at the grand jury and probably DID obtain any and all phone records LEGALLY that CAN be used before the grand jury.

That whole situation with illegally obtained evidence is also referred to as "fruit of the poison tree" and also read up on the exclusionary rule regarding this type of evidence. Any good defense lawyer, and the Ramseys have THE BEST in the State of Colorado, would move to strike Thomas's whole testimony when around those phone records as being tainted if he was not shielded from that evidence.

Here's what CBI seized in a raid on the Rapps, regarding the Ramsey case:

Among the records Colorado Bureau of Investigation agents said they seized in a raid on the company were the cell phone records of John and Patsy Ramsey, the parents of JonBenét; their credit card bills, banking records for Ramsey's former company, Access Graphics, and personal records on his plane trips.

The Rapss were lucky to get off as lightly as they did, as they were caught at the beginning of this era. It would have been much worse only a few years later. What they did is why Private Investigator Anthony Pellicano will probably die in prison, and an off shoot of this, phone hacking, almost brought down one of the most powerful men in the world, Rupert Murdoch, London's famed Metropolitan police force, MP's, etc.

We can rest assured that everything they have that is still secret is incriminating to the Ramseys or they would release it.

We have learned this time and time again over the years. As things come out or are leaked, it is incriminating to the Ramseys

There is no reason to believe, based on the track record of information that is newly known, to believe it would bolster an intruder theory. That theory is whittled down to nothing at this point.

Every time a new piece of information comes out, the Ramseys appear guilty. Like the DNA report, one can assume that the phone records that they did get showed phone calls at odd hours that night and day that would conflict with the stories told by the Ramseys; unless John and Patsy claim no memory of making calls in their sleep

It's just my opinion but I believe it is a viable one

Doc Miller talks about the 911 call and that Burke was clearly heard in the background. Is this a true statement?

That is sealed evidence, so we only have the word of the people that know about that evidence. Read The Bonita Files about it. Steve Thomas said HE and the other detectives heard it. Chief Kolar and another journalist that was going to play it on TV (until Lin Wood threatened the journalist against it) said they either couldn't hear it, or hear it well. So it depends.

Incidentally, I was looking up an issue about Doc Miller the other day and found that he had published at least a version of his book on his law office website. How had I had missed this? http://www.tommillerlaw.com

Just on off chance than anyone else has missed this, go to the publications section rather than the JBR section then scroll down to non,-fiction.

Sealed evidence even though so many RDI's were claiming they could hear it, but it was never there and to spill such a lie tells you how crazy this whole thing got out of hand. Like Doc Miller (he's no doctor but was interestingly a forensics expert on note writing before it all happened). Doc was not at the party so how could he say Ransom was on the telly. Bill Cox said it was Nick of Time (6 year old girl kidnapped to make the father kill the governor and the climax is timed at exactly 1:18 when the govenor wakes up). John Ramsey looks so much like Johnny Depp, that I believe him too.
