Heloise, SuperDave indicates he has written a book on the case but hasn't mentioned the name of the book (that I've been able to find, anyway). Do you, or does anyone know if it's been published and if it has, what the name of it is?)

Thanks.

Jeffie's latest, rambling diatribe:

http://www.foxnews.com/opinion/2010/06/10/jef...

Why doesn't Jeffie take HIS OWN advice, and leave JonBenet alone? Most likely, because it's about the only time his drivel will be published anywhere, and people MAY remember him from somewhere. NO WAY will people stop talking about, posting about one of the top unsolved cases in the world. Jeffie's rant is just as likely to stop talk about the Zodiac killer, the Black Dahlia killer, and other top unsolved crimes. Too bad if he doesn't like it, he's not the dictator of the news and what people talk about or wite about in this country. He can go back to where he came from, being in TOTAL OBSCURITY, save for his OWN references to his dubious BRIEF "work" in the JonBenet Ramsey case, over a decade ago.

I had to snicker at Jeffie's complaint about talking about "old" cases. He must not LISTEN CAREFULLY to his own media outlet, Faux News. What did Faux run this past weekend but "Summer of Evil", about the MANSON/LA BIANCA murders from 1969. There was no reason to re-run this show from last year, as the Manson case WAS NOT in the news right now, except a GRATUITOUS GRAB FOR RATINGS, re-peddling an old show on a sensational murder case.

I believe I read an article from Shapiro after Lacy exonerated the Ramseys. He indicated that the Ramseys were not exonerated by the touch DNA. It doesn't seem to me that Shapiro believes the Ramseys are off the hook as of yet..

Only those responsible for the death of Jonbenet would want to keep her death buried like a deep dark secret. The one thing constant to families of murder victims is they want justice. The Ramseys have no such agenda. I think itís because Jonbenet wasnít murdered. She died as Shapiro asserts, tragically, a word usually reserved for accidents. John Ramsey had a foundation for a year or two but it was a sham and did nothing other than provide pretense. The case is not closed. Her family needs to participate in exposing the circumstances of her death. They are the cowards. Jonbenet deserves this, if inquires come from the public so be it, it takes a villageÖ

Shapiro was so busy licking Alex Hunterís balls he didnít see the nefarious activity under his nose. On December 28th Pam Paugh was allowed to remove items from the crime scene for the Ramseys. This was Ďarrangedí through Ramsey attorneys and the DA, they conspired. The DA dictated to the police what would transpire. Pam was even given a badge and official jacket to wear while she did it, to protect her from the media they said. That should have been a big hint that something was wrong. She had no need to be protected from the media. How would they know who she was? She needed a jacket and badge so the CBI and other outside agencies on the scene would think the items she was removing were being done so on an official basis. Thatís what Hunterís office didnít want the media to catch wind of. It is not and never has been acceptable to allow anything to be removed from a crime scene while itís still in an active phase.

JonBenet, the duct tape, the cord, and the paint stick were coated with tan cotton fibers. The official investigation publicly declared the killer must have worn tan cotton gloves. Among the items Pam Paugh removed were several American Girl dolls. The dolls have tan cotton bodies, each a different shade of tan cotton. The unofficial version for over a decade been that everything Pam removed was given the once over before it was released. How did they compare the tan cotton of the dolls to the tan cotton found at the crime scene? Pamís police escort was not lugging around an electron microscope. He was not even trained to distinguish cotton from other fibers. That requires a forensic lab and a person with specialized, professional training. The reality is the tan cotton fibers of the dolls werenít compared to the tan cotton fibers of the crime scene. The tan cotton torso wouldnít have even been visible under the doll clothes.

Almost to the day and hour of Pam Paugh removing the dolls an anonymous order was made for a doll duplicate to one removed by the Ramseys and shipped to John Ramseyís office. Almost to the day and hour when John Ramsey claims he was out walking the foothills of Boulder alone.... Itís been portrayed as a cruel joke but information the dolls were removed wasnít published until a year later leaving the Ramseys and very few other people aware of these specific dolls. John Ramsey did not bring this odd package that arrived to the attention of police. He did nothing, just as the Boulder DA did nothing when they were tipped off to investigate the dolls over 10 years ago. The Ramseys actively conspired to cover up whatever happened in their family and the DA assisted them. It may be a moot point this late but the colors of these fibers will never change and until they are compared they remain a valid link to the death of Jonbenet.

I agree with you. It seems that John would have nothing better to do than park himself in the BPD and insist they find the killer.
Question. How do you believe the tan cotton fibers, of the dolls body, ended up on the duct tape, etc.?

For learnin,

You are correct about Shapiro's opinion in that article 2 years ago. However, Jeffie has flip-flopped numerous times in this case (read his article in the Boulder Weekly from 2002 or 2003, where he talks about believing the intruder theory), and my take on what he was writing in this latest article about the "suffering" of the Ramseys, etc., meant that he flopped back to the intruder side. It all depended on who he was being influenced by, Hunter/Smit, intruder, Thomas, Patsy.

It was Jeffie who gave Lin Wood the absolutely DAMNING audio tape of a conversation he had with Steve Thomas when Thomas was there with CASKU and the FBI in Quanico, VA, talking about the recently released Vanity Fair article.

I agree with Pinker that only people that would rather cover the whole thing up and make sure it stays that way (Hunter, Lacy, et. al) want this case to go away. I'm very suspicious of people who thinks it's wrong to want this murder solved.

Think of all the money Colorado wasted on looking for a killer when she likely died in an embarrassing tragic accident.

Think of the real children that are vicitms and need plenty of help and support. It's likely enough money that it would make a real difference in their damaged lives.

I hope the truth is exposed and John Ramsey has to pay back all the money the State of Colorado wasted.

The Boulder police put it in their press releases when they had the case. It was well over a million dollars, with almost another million spent by the DA's office. This is BEFORE Lacy received custody of the case and before the "new" investigation.

Thank you Candy, likely up to $3 million by now with inflation. Too bad, likley CO will never see a penny offered or collected from the Ramseys.

vapid at best.
I'd like to hear from Linda Arndt more than any other player, the White's following her..JShapiro's opinions mean nothing.

I respect him for the years he has dedicated to this case and Justice for JonBenet, whether I agree with him or not, he could have forgotten this case, but he hasn't. I admire perseverance a great deal.

Yes, Arndt would be very interesting to hear from, as well as the Whites, but the Whites will only write a letter if they want to say anything, IMO.

IMO JS was a big part of the problem in this case. His tactics and games only served to point out what everyone complained about the media...intrusive, rude and damn the truth. His interest in JonBenet Ramsey's murder was purely ego driven. Still is (notice his flag waving about being there from the beginning), so I don't think anything he says or does is particularily honorable. I see some people on these boards for years that have anything BUT justice in mind for the dead baby,.. interest doesn't necessarily mean they care.
You're probably right about the White's, and for that I won't hold my breath;)

I have to agree wholeheartedly with your opinion of JS. He may have been wanting to see justice in the very beginning, as did many, but as time went on, and things were not quite "right" as JS PERSONALLY found out, it became a career ladder and opportunity for him to make a name for himself and the justice aspect long forgotten

There is nothing wrong with wanting to boost a career, but in this case, JS is not deserving of the medals that he wants to pin on himself, or that others want to pin on him, yada yada.

There was always something in it for him and I agree that his involvement in this case, is not ALL for the right reasons.
