The story I was told about Jeffie, and how he became a reporter for the Globe is, Jeffie came from a prominent JEWISH family in Florida. Tony Frost, editor of The Globe, needed sponsorship to join a country club in Florida, where the Globe was headquartered (as well as the rest of the tabs). Tony gave Jeffie the job as a Globe cub reporter as a thank you for Jeffie's family sponsoring Tony at the Country Club. Jeffie had just graduated from college.

Jeffie was always a DEMOCRAT, and what he sees in Bush are Bush's policies towards Israel, and against terrorism, etc.

Yes people CAN change their mind. Jeff changed his mind about the guilt of the Ramseys, even went up and apologized to them for the way the tabloids treated them.
Democrats can become Republicans too. Happens every day.
I see nothing wrong with it.
I applaud Jeff for standing up to the tabloids after leaving his job.

yes, people without the courage of their convictions change their mind everyday. Worms like Shapiro do all and anything to make a buck, and when it doesn't pan out, apologize and say they 'changed their mind', hoping to make a buck off the flip side. I can see how you'd admire him, Biz;)

Well I applaud those who are man enough to stand up and say they made a mistake. Jeffrey Shapiro did that with the Ramseys.

yeah, sit there clapping like a seal..he's admitting a mistake after he sat in their tree and heard nothing..even after he snuck into their church and used religion to nail 'em..lol he's a real stand up guy, now that he's been outted as a creep. Still doesn't make the Ramsey's innocent you know, just makes Shapiro look like the maggot he is. Have a nice day:D

No amount of backtracking or sidestepping can strip away Bush's guilt in causing thousands of American kids to lose their lives. Shapiro might have changed his mind about the Ramsey's guilt, but he can't change all the guilt on Bush's shoulders for all the bloodshed in Iraq. Bush traded oil for blood and 1,000 Jeff Shapiros can't wash that blood from his hands.

Biz, you are right of course, but you'll see plenty more changes in opinion from Jeffy before this case dies.

Like so many of the people involved with the JBR case, especially in the media, minds will change depending on where the bread is buttered and he is no different than the others. I wonder if the IDI will admire him should he change his mind AGAIN about the JBR case.

Interesting that there are no accolades for those IDI who have since changed their mind about the intruder to the Ramseys being involved LOL. I guess it's only admirable if someone changes their mind to the intruder theory
