In the letter I had unsealed by the Court, Fleet White said why he didn't like the Miller case, the deal Craig Lewis got, he got off for a $100,000 donation to the CU Journalism school. He talked about the nightmare of the Ramsey case on himself and his family, then the Krebs nightmare.

Both Fleet and Priscilla were friends with Judith Phillips right up until the time of this. They supposedly didn't like Doc Miller because he worked with the Globe, but they were long time friends of Judith Phillips, and Judith spoke highly of both Whites right up until this time. Fleet wrote a letter to the Judge saying he wasn't going to show up, he didn't tell Judith, they found out from the Judge.

Thanks for taking the time to correct all of the Biz errors, considering it was 99.99% of what she posted.

No, because Tom Miller was with Craig Lewis allegedly trying to BUY a copy of the ransom note from a Ramsey handwriting expert for $40,000 cash. You're source is all screwed up with relation to Tal and Tom Miller. Tal met Tom Miller and Judith Phillips in either 1999 or 2000, not before then and they were friends, Tal didn't work for him. Tal was a Burke did it poster, and some kind of relative of Fleet Whites. That doesn't mean Fleet White said that. Tal wasn't Fleet White's henchman, he was a go between Fleet sometimes used. I don't know anything about Tom Miller putting a knife to Tal's throat.

IF anything the Whites said to the grand jury ended up getting the Ramseys indicted, it WILL be used against them that when Lacy cleared the Ramseys, all he cared about was getting a similar letter. NOT that she cleared the real killers, just that HE wanted the same thing they got.

Those were some very serious allegations against Tom Miller, Mama. Pamela Hadas filed a lawsuit against Tom Miller and Judith Phillips.

Have you any idea what the outcome was of that? I searched, but can't seem to find any further information.

The judgement wasn't published according to the info at the link below, but TM & JP are listed as appellants. So, whatever the ruling was, Doc & Judith didn't like it.

Keep dreaming Team Scamsey. Tom Miller IS NOT on the list of disbarred or disciplined lawyers. Doc and Cookie never had any dead kids in their basement, unlike Cookie's former friends.

http://www.justice.gov/eoir/discipline.htm

I LOVE how selective they are when it comes to lawyers, they never mention the SORRY likes of Hal Haddon/Rocky Flats nuclear disaster, Kobe Bryant, everything Steve Thomas had to say about Patsy's attorney in Boulder, Patrick Burke (that I listed on the Patrick Burke thread) lawyer Trip DeMuth going to work for John Ramsey's lawyer, Mike Bynum, after he left the DA's office, lawyer Alex Hunter refusing to indict the grand jury indictment against the Scamseys. That's just the tip of the iceberg.

We are discussing FW, Doc Miller, Judith Phillips & Tal Jones; this THREAD is selective, not our memories. Bump the Patrick Burke thread or create new threads if you'd like to engage us in discussions about other lawyers' ethics or lack of...

Right, an appellant is one who appeals, LOL. It can be either someone from the prosecution or the defense from the original court. This day and age everyone appeals everything, and trust me, Tom and Judith are just fine!

Good job!

Next question:
What's the definition for appellee?

Now for the bonus:
Defendants appeal a court's judgement and the judgement is affirmed. Did the judge rule in favor of the defendants in the original proceedings or during the appeal phase?
