Thanks for taking the time to correct all of the Biz errors, considering it was 99.99% of what she posted.

No, because Tom Miller was with Craig Lewis allegedly trying to BUY a copy of the ransom note from a Ramsey handwriting expert for $40,000 cash. You're source is all screwed up with relation to Tal and Tom Miller. Tal met Tom Miller and Judith Phillips in either 1999 or 2000, not before then and they were friends, Tal didn't work for him. Tal was a Burke did it poster, and some kind of relative of Fleet Whites. That doesn't mean Fleet White said that. Tal wasn't Fleet White's henchman, he was a go between Fleet sometimes used. I don't know anything about Tom Miller putting a knife to Tal's throat.

IF anything the Whites said to the grand jury ended up getting the Ramseys indicted, it WILL be used against them that when Lacy cleared the Ramseys, all he cared about was getting a similar letter. NOT that she cleared the real killers, just that HE wanted the same thing they got.

Those were some very serious allegations against Tom Miller, Mama. Pamela Hadas filed a lawsuit against Tom Miller and Judith Phillips.

Have you any idea what the outcome was of that? I searched, but can't seem to find any further information.

The judgement wasn't published according to the info at the link below, but TM & JP are listed as appellants. So, whatever the ruling was, Doc & Judith didn't like it.

Keep dreaming Team Scamsey. Tom Miller IS NOT on the list of disbarred or disciplined lawyers. Doc and Cookie never had any dead kids in their basement, unlike Cookie's former friends.

http://www.justice.gov/eoir/discipline.htm

I LOVE how selective they are when it comes to lawyers, they never mention the SORRY likes of Hal Haddon/Rocky Flats nuclear disaster, Kobe Bryant, everything Steve Thomas had to say about Patsy's attorney in Boulder, Patrick Burke (that I listed on the Patrick Burke thread) lawyer Trip DeMuth going to work for John Ramsey's lawyer, Mike Bynum, after he left the DA's office, lawyer Alex Hunter refusing to indict the grand jury indictment against the Scamseys. That's just the tip of the iceberg.

We are discussing FW, Doc Miller, Judith Phillips & Tal Jones; this THREAD is selective, not our memories. Bump the Patrick Burke thread or create new threads if you'd like to engage us in discussions about other lawyers' ethics or lack of...

Right, an appellant is one who appeals, LOL. It can be either someone from the prosecution or the defense from the original court. This day and age everyone appeals everything, and trust me, Tom and Judith are just fine!

Good job!

Next question:
What's the definition for appellee?

Now for the bonus:
Defendants appeal a court's judgement and the judgement is affirmed. Did the judge rule in favor of the defendants in the original proceedings or during the appeal phase?

Enough is Enough. This depo needs to be opened ASAP. Fleet White showed up with a flawless memory on the radio today, unlike what is described in the first post of this case. Judge Carnes won't cover up anything anymore, now that he's went public, this is fair game. Carnes just LOVED his pro Ramsey testimony, and now he's saying he doesn't believe in an intruder which Carnes said was more consistent with the evidence. What does she think of what he's saying now? She used his testimony to help the Ramseys and hurt the Patsy did it theory. The media needs to do it's job an open this in its entirity to public scrutiny, including the video of his testimony.

Exactly, Capricorn! Stephen Singular gave the only possible scenario that ever could have fit Nancy's story. That scenario: John Ramsey was "lending" his daughter out for pedophile parties. This fits with Nancy's description of him as Uncle Johnny who was the money man behind the sex ring she was involved in.
There are only two ways that a ring can operate. Either they kidnap kids (for real, no ransom note) and take them away forever (usually to a foreign country) or the parents of the child are involved in the ring and allow their children to be used in this manner. According to Nancy, John Ramsey was into the sex ring business.
And just WHO was having a party that night, a party where photographs of the guests are considered TOP SECRET?

Per recent previous postings, Henri really needs to provide the source for his statement about JP taking a course on photography from Santa Bill. One thing is any independent relationship between the two and the other thing is Santa Bill's knowledge of photography.
We know BPD investigated the "tape on the picture frames" (wiki - Whynutt + forum discussions) and coincidental receipts from McGuckins. That of course was leaked to the public. In her depot, PR said she didn't put the tape on the frames and I think ST investigated all that. Various forum discussions seem to suggest the tape was related to picture frames for paintings or photography or gaffers tape.

Patsy never took photography lessons from Bill McReynolds. She hired him to be a Santa. They had little other social interaction.(Yes, he brought her a gingerbread house, but they didn't socialize as friends.)

The tape on JonBenét's mouth didn't match the black duct tape on the back of that picture frame. That had been put on the frame by some framing business, not the Ramsey family.

Interesting fact, the tape was manufactured about 5 miles from my home. The cloth tape ran out before the batch of glue. There was a rather small window of time when Cloth B was on the manufacturing machine at the same time as Glue A. So they know it was made just weeks before the murder. Although Steve Thomas and his partner came here to talk to the brass at Shurtape, there were a couple possible leads related to that tape that never got followed up on. Shame, but the BORG just didn't want to give up on their pet suspects.

... talk about cover ups, I guess the IRONY totally escapes the man, FLEET'S depo in the Wolf case is STILL covered up, he buried behind a protective order that he put there, before he even gave a word of "testimony." Then it looks like, from the ONLY media account of this COVERED UP ROYALLY depo quoted above, poor Fleet suffered a MASSIVE MEMORY LOSS and key, crucial questions were answered with a "I don't know". LUCKILY FOR THE RAMSEYS, Fleet ALLEGEDLY did recover enough of his "memory" to give glowing testimony about his buddies the Ramseys. Judge Carnes certainly loved Fleet's pro-Ramsey testimony, and quoted lots of it in her pro-Ramsey opinion. But since it's COVERED UP, we can't see this for ourselves, and the people of Boulder can't see it, and it contradicts just about anything he has said in any "letter" of his to the public. The media should have opened this YEARS ago. Again, why he attended this FIRST AMENDMENT hearing when that's the last thing he ever wants for his own testimony, is another Fleet MYSTERY.
But you saw it, Candy. You know what he said in the deposition. And he has NEVER made a public statement saying he believed the Ramseys murdered their daughter.

I think he was/is a weak man who didn't want to face the BORG with his truth. He knew the Ramseys as a good family, a loving family incapable of this crime. Abd he watched as Allie Krupki and Sherry Keene-Osborn and others got viciously attacked by the BORG when they went public about their support for the Intruder theory.

I think Fleet just didn't want to be next. So he fought to have the deposition sealed, gave his testimony (which you said yourself supported the Ramseys) and hated that it leaked.

Still, he really couldn't be so mad at me. If it reached me, I am sure it reached a dozen others. It's unavailable now, but let's call a spade a spade -- he didn't have an unkind thing to say about the Ramseys in his deposition.
