Hello All. I am glad that we will eventually have access to the indictment against the Ramseys sooner or later. The plaintiffs have a strong case and if not this month, it is only a matter of time before the INDICTMENT is released. There was however quite a bit of a PSEUDO CONTROVERSY generated by the likes of AK and Brother Moon about whether or not an INDICTMENT actually occurred. Their bass kissing sycophants had quite a field day moronically contesting the obvious fact that the Ramsey's were indeed INDICTED.
According to the Daily Camera, at the beginning of the hearing Lowenbach cleared the courtroom to discuss with Garnett's prosecutors whether the indictment actually exists....I just want to make sure that we're arguing over something...it'll be fairly TRANSPARENT if we go forward what the district attorney has told me. After a short discussion the hearing PROCEEDED.
Since numerous articles pronouncing an indictment were not ENOUGH and they would not accept Mini Wesson's analysis, I hope that we can ALL AGREE that the RAMSEYS were INDICTED!

Yes indeed, they were. The Judge had to establish that an indicment even existed, step one.

IF, it is released, I doubt there will be few, if any surprises. One thing you can count on, every defense attorney in the country that just LOVES Hunter, will side with HIM, and say what a nothing amount of evidence there was, that Hunter did the right thing, just like they all did when the news first came out. Had the news come out at the time of this COVER UP, there would have been protests all over the United States.

Hi Candy. I agree with much of what you wrote. The reason that thee wee not howls of indignation after the revelation of the indictment is because so much time has passed and most people have forgotten many of the basic facts of the case. Moreover Lacy's ridiculous, ludicrous, beyond preposterous, morally callous exoneration of the Ramseys is still fresh in the mind of the public and has not been examined carefully. A little bit of scrutiny on her presentation of how touch DNA clears the Ramseys and one understands the woman is obviously a few bricks short of a load. Once the basic facts of the case are reintroduced to the Public via the Grand Jury indictment, there will be little if any credibility given to the meretricious arguments proferred by the Ramsey Apologists.

I totally agree with everything you have stated Steve. I think that the game playing "semantics" are silly. They were in fact, indicted by the GJ and just because Hunter refused to "sign" it, doesn't mean they weren't indicted. It just means they never officially filed it and tried it.

I have to disagree somewhat with Candy insofar as nothing being new. I believe the testimony, if it is released, may shed some new light on many of the speculative matters and I think there is always more than we know. Even the small details of testimony provided by those who testified will clarify much of what we talk about and I think there will be some new stuff too. I am not saying that anything we find out will be earth shattering, but that new things will come out

Thank you Capricorn. I agree with you and it is true about even minor information being helpful but I am worried that those who prosecuted this conspiracy against justice will find a way to obfuscate whatever information becomes available. When I initially learned about the indictment I was certain that there would be harsh loud public outcry against Hunter but it never materialized, if anything the media tried to portray him as a heroic figure.

Yes, the grand jury indictment makes Lacy's exonoration look worse and more hinky than ever. Alex though, still has some wiggle room, by saying the case was not at the beyond a reasonable doubt standard. That's not for a jury to decide, they just decide probable case. BUT it's the same old Alex, re-reading Steve Thomas's book again, he asks during the interviews of the Ramseys "Have you got a confession yet?" That's Alex for you, he only wanted a confession case that he would get to PLEA BARGAIN, his specialty. Plea Bargain Alex famously thought Johnnie Cochran "rushed" the prosecution of OJ. Huh? No one except 12 specially picked dummies thought there wasn't enough evidence to charge OJ Simpson with the two murders HE committed.

DA must show cause as to why Ramsey indictment should stay sealed:

Yes I can't wait to see what led the Grand Jurors to advise Hunter to prosecute BOTH parents!

Thanks for the link Candy.

I am hoping that Garnett does the right thing. I read the article and got a little more hopeful

The only thing I can think of that would make it more difficult would be any testimony regarding Burke or other minors within the testimony.

I am keeping my fingers crossed with this. At least we have confirmation of the indictment and the charge/s.

Hopefully if they release the indictment we can start to learn more about the possible cover up on behalf of the Ramseys. Let's get the information reviewed by the Grand Jury and decide for ourselves how "brave" or corrupt were Hunter & Co.

As for the indictment, a jury member said that the grand jury merely felt that more investigation of the parents' role was needed, not that the jury itself was convinced they were the murderers.
Suppose that Boulder has an active child pornography/ritual child abuse community, or community center.
Suppose a parent or parents of Jon Benet involved her, or both children, in this.
Suppose that wealthy business and political leaders in high places participated in these activities.
Evan Ravitch wrote about this at length.(Search for Evan Ravitz on the Ramsey case.)
Would any of this explain any of the conduct of this case? The behavior of the parents in resisting investigation?
The behavior of Law Enforcement in perpetuating the coverup?
Suppose it is neither the parents, or a stranger, who committed the murder? Suppose it was a person allowed to
enter the house and engage the child in a ritual act, planned ahead of time, which went awry?
Would any of this explain any of the puzzles in this case?
Anyway, we need to find out more.
