Judge Carnes never had accesss to the medical and psychiatric records of BURKE RAMSEY. Any conclusions she made are null and void. The information contained in them provides answers about the ongoing dysfunction and utter chaos these children lived with well before Jonbenet turned up dead.

Both children exhibited very unusual behavior, leaving feces outside the toilet; in clothing or bedding, a symptom of being victims of molestation, sexually assault; most likely incest in kids that young. Jonbenet had a history of molestation shown at autopsy but BURKE’S records were given an island of privacy, even from Carnes.

The truth eventually surfaces. Carnes was a pawn.

Burke had no ability to control his emotions or rage whan he was 9. To this day he most likely has some anger managment issues. The police still want to talk with him and he has not returned their call.

Carnes also was prevented from knowledge the Ramseys had been indicted by a Grand Jury for chid abuse leading to death.

What exactly does child abuse leading to death mean?

The Ramseys were indicted for leaving JB in an abusive atmosphere that could be a threat to her well being and ultimately her life. That is how I perceive it.

And if that is case, they are stating that one or the other of the parents knew that the other parent was abusing her and refused to seek help in the situation. Or could it mean that one or both parents knew that she was being abused by her brother? Whatever the reasoning, they felt the Ramseys knew that abuse was taking place and that neither sought help. The jury could have found them innocent. After the presenting of the evidence, the GJ felt the parents were responsible either directly or indirectly for her demise. They were the ones who heard the evidence--even Lou Smit's evidence. They were wise enough to see the parents' role in the matter. So, it then became a "which one did what" and "who" actually killed her, but they were certain that the parents were aware and aided and abetted. There just was not enough evidence to attain a prosecution against a particular person.

Do you think the parents left JBR in the care of someone else and then lied about the whole..we got home, carried her to bed, read her a bedtime story and changed her clothes, etc. or did they both pass out and really not know what happened?
