The Today Show just ran a segment on this. A statement by Lin Wood was just identical to what Bryan Morgan said yesterday in the Camera. WOOD ALSO SAID THE GRAND JURY WAS WRONG.

I hope and encourage the media to CHECK OUT THE FACTS ON THAT DNA YOU THOUGHT YOU KNEW ABOUT through Chief A. James Kolar's new book last year titled "Foreign Faction: Who Kidnapped Jonbenet?" And you will see their were SIX not just ONE more SOURCE OF UNIDENTIFIED DNA, and call into question Lacy's clearing of this and WHEN DID LACY KNOW ABOUT THE OTHER UNSOURCED DNA, that DO NOT match each other.

The Today Show needs to get it's facts straight about Alex Hunter's willingness to prosecute high profile cases when he was the DA. They try to say he was "brave" not to go forward with the grand jury's INDICTMENT of both John AND Patsy Ramsey FOR CHILD ABUSE LEADING TO DEATH. Alex Hunter also told the previous grand jury in the LAST high profile case before the JonBenet Ramsey case, the Sid Wells case, NOT TO VOTE TO PROSECUTE THE THEN AND CURRENT PRIME SUSPECT. That suspect promptly skiped the jurisdiction after Hunter's decision, and has not been seen since. The new, current DA, Stan Garnett, BRAVELY INDICTED THE SID WELLS CASE, WHICH ALEX HUNTER REFUSED TO INDICT, IN 2011.

Quote: "In the investigation of University of Colorado student Sid Wells' gunshot death in 1983, the Boulder County District Attorney's Office asked a grand jury to "MAKE NO DECISION in this case on the issue of whether or not the suspect had murdered Sid Wells," according to court records of the grand jury proceeding later released under court order.

Prosecutor Pete Maguire stated in an affidavit that he explained to the grand jury that he did not think there was enough evidence to file criminal charges.

"After a period of deliberation the grand jury indicated that they would not request that they be allowed to vote and decide the issue of probable cause," according to Maguire's affidavit.

In 1997, Boulder police reopened their investigation of that grand jury's target, Thayne Smika, whose whereabouts are unknown."

In the same article, the Ramseys attorneys, Patrick Burke, Patsy Ramsey's criminal lawyer, and Lin Wood both say they believed the grand jury DID NOT vote to indict the Ramseys, and Lin Wood said he would use the then upcoming Steve Thomas lawsuit to prove it:

"Lin Wood, the current attorney for John and Patsy Ramsey, has included each member of the grand jury as a potential witness in the Ramseys' civil lawsuit against former Boulder police Detective Steve Thomas.

"There are a number of very interesting legal issues regarding the grand jurors," Wood said. "Needless to say, I intend to fully explore these issues in an effort to establish publicly the truth that the grand jury voted and voted against an indictment."

"The rumors that I have heard, and they are just rumors, were that they took a straw poll of the grand jurors and said there was not going to be an indictment, and the case then was closed in terms of grand jury," Boulder attorney Patrick Burke told a group of attorneys gathered for a seminar Friday at the Adams Mark Hotel."

The spin is only starting now and will continue. The RST will continue to embarrass themselves by trying to deny the GJ decision because nobody legally can comment one way or the other. For those who remember, the IDI/RST was all full of high fives and back slaps when one of the GJ members came forward, breaking the law, to say she thought the Ramseys were innocent. That got lots of accolades and applause. These GJ members? Not as much :)

Alex Hunter did not have to prosecute but to hide the GJ's decision is just plain corrupt, especially since the LIES afterward about the GJ are now exposed as LIES

Alex Hunter without a doubt did the wrong thing in disrespecting the GJ's decision by not declaring their decision publicly. He chose to be a coward and blamed them instead of being honest and declaring that despite their indictment, he wasn't going to prosecute.

Like the Ramseys, it's always someone else's fault and responsibility

This is exactly what I fear will happen with the latest development. The Ramseys will just spin this as an example of an incompetent Grand Jury and portray Hunter as a brave hero. I did not watch the show but I hope people like Jim Kolar will be given a chance to express some of the LEGITIMATE reasons of why the Grand Jury probably voted to indict.

It looks like tomorrow will be the day for the JonBenet Ramsey segment, and if it is anything like the other cases they have featured this week, especially today's one on the Casey Anthony case, it will be pure drivel, a flat out play for ratings on the back of these famous cases. It's sweeps week folks, which is why they are featuring these cases at all. They hope you'll stay tuned to the show for the duration of the segment and hopefully longer.

The Today Show has no backbone either, we all know Casey got off, but they were handling it with kid gloves, just letting the Judge say he saw one Casey Anthony in private, and she put on another face when the jury was there. Who cares? People tune in because they remember a huge miscarriage of justice, but you'll hear nothing about that from the Today Show. Matt Lauer is clueless, as bad in his own way as his former sidekick Katie Couric. Matt had Drew Peterson booked at the end of his trial for an exclusive with The Today Show in the expectation he was going to get off, and kept rapping with Jose Baez about PAYING for a Casey Anthony interview, LONG after most networks refused to bother anymore. I remember when the news came out that Matt couldn't duck, that the Ramsey grand jury voted to indict both John and Patsy. He looked ill, like the case brings nothing but problems, and couldn't wait to end the segment.
