If they plead guilty does that mean they escape the death penalty.

This is headlines for today:
CORSICANA, Texas (AP) A 6-year-old girl who had been sexually assaulted was found hanged inside her family's garage, and authorities on Thursday described her mother's boyfriend as the primary suspect.

He has not been charged in this crime...

I'm not talking about the story, I'm pointing out his flawed sentence as he so kindly pointed out mine. A little 'lesson' as he puts it.

joejam,

Nelly's response wasn't per the validity of the headline. It was about Victory correcting her on her use of "alot" on another thread, when she (Victory) had already used the incorrect "This is headlines for today" instead of "This is the headline for today".

Nelly, you are absolutely correct. Thank you for pointing that out to me...yes, we all make mistakes, and I for one appreciate anyone who will take the time to correct me. I learn that way.

That speaks volumes, doesn't it? He must have been given information by the police that the public doesn't know, wouldn't you think?

Absolutely Legal_Eagle. As the commentators have been noting, it must be something MAJOR to remove a child from the custody of his biological mother. I hope it isn't just a couple of failed polys. Shasta Groene's father failed a poly, and a pedophile kidnapped Dylan and Shasta Groene, and the father didn't have anything to do with it.

Thank you for the article Candy - that would be enough for me to file the same paperwork - geez - did she think that little tidbit somehow wouldn't come out?

Well, it's obviously the basis of the restraining order, therefore, it's under seal, therefore, someone leaked it. I believe the cops leaked it to the Oregonian, the paper the father banned from his press conference, because the cops like their reporting, since most of the info is coming from them...

KING TV also added the step mom said her husband had had an affair on her and she was in a bad marriage, further reason (to me) for her not to want to care for HIS son anymore, and to punish the father (by killing his son).

What I would like to know is, since she posed Kyron in front of his science exhibit at the school, and left his backpack and jacket there, what pretext did she use to get Kyron to LEAVE with her then, that he had a doctor's appointment, that she supposedly yelled to the teacher (although it's said the doctor's appointment was supposed to be for "next week?" How did the step mom get Kyron to leave again with her, and what did she do to kill him? I believe like Casey Anthony and Misty Croslin, she'll NEVER tell on her own, and they'll have to find the kid. They should be organizing huge searches to find this poor boy.

If she is in fact, responsible, it doesn't take much. He's just a 7 year old boy. All she has to do is say "come with me" and he'll go.

The news is just now also reporting that she has been reported before this to human services in the past due to "parenting". This is in addition to trying to have her husband killed. She is in BIG trouble, but I agree, they'll have to find the body first.

Poor boy; like JBR, the last image of his life would be of someone who was supposed to care for him and love him but instead....(if it is her)

This is so sad..do you think he's still alive, Cap? I heard the sheriff say they were looking for a living child, so maybe she has him someplace. I hope, anyway. How cute is he with that infectious grin and his little glasses.
I can't believe how nutty this stepmother's turning out to be! Must be a friend of you-know-who;)
