How would you react you cant speculate for others reactions as for me i would call the police,an i guess it is better then saying, HI how ya doing real calm. Patsy sounded VERY emotional,it is my opinion she sounds like there is a real urgency.,but as for the Ramseys being angry maybe they will leave it in gods hands i don't know them Personally so i will not Speculate!
#974 Nov 24, 2010
Yes, WS. If this wasn't such a horrible tragedy, the Ramseys actions and excused would almost comical!

Excuses: NOT excused

WW, I just looked at my first post to you on this (#966) and am sorry: It came out completely wrong. So I apologize. Don't know what happened there:seems I stopped in midsentence and it sounded like I was disagreeing with you, when I was trying to do just the opposite. Sorry about that.

She had to take test in several sessions, while on medication, and paid for the results she received, 5 months after JB died.

I think that describes American society as a whole. There is an intense individualism which promotes a person to seek out their own path and become too self preoccupied. It is very easy to become dissatisfied due to high expectations. Being a member of an affluent society(comparatively speaking) things that we take for granted that are easily obtained may not be in poorer nations such as food, clothing, clean water, safe living conditions etc. We take the next step since these things aren't our life's goal(they are already obtained.)
Of course I do not refer to every member but a tendency that is easily developed.
For what we have obtained compared to poorer nations and the whole history of mankind should there be such high instances of suicide, drug use, divorce and corruption?
Anywho, there are plenty of people out there that fit this. They continue on and do not per se commit legal transgressions; albeit, one may argue as to their moral standing and motivations. However, at bottom, we are not moral creatures anyway. Such abstractions live on in the surface(consciousness) and their usefulness favors their continuation.

I am curious as to the police search procedure in this case. After a few hours of not finding JB's body in this house shouldn't word have gotten out to extend the search off the premises? Even if they suspected the parents that does not mean they could not have left the child/body somewhere else where she could be in a dire state. I am not sure if they had an Amber alert then, but in my area, when a child is missing, word gets out fast. It may have an unfortunate end or the child may have just spent the night at a friend's house and did not tell anyone.
The Caylee child in Florida was not found in her home. Even the Lindbergh child was found a couple miles from home with a smashed skull no less.

I am fascinated by your description of the narcisist. I think that the perpetrator could be a woman or a man, or a pair. I wonder about the possibility of the perpetrator being a jealous and envious woman from the pageant circuit. I think that the letter indicates more hatred to the Ramseys than an indication of wanting money or sex. The latter apparent motivations were only staged to hide the hatred and jealousy.

On the former Prosecutor's blog on this case, she noted that Robert Ressler died this past May. His profile on this case remains A CLASSIC to this day.

I distinctly recall where I read Robert Ressler's profile in the Ramsey case. On Justice Watch. Starry, a poster in the Maryland area, went to see Ressler and took notes. Those posts should still be available. A Candy Rose, who has not bothered to maintain or put up ANY Justice Watch threads IN YEARS, has YEARS AGO put up SOME THREADS, and in her typical fashion, either dropped the project or forgot about it. Someone else should have custody over those threads, that is interested in this case, and KNOWS what threads are relevant for case discussion, and Starry's posts are exhibit A of that.
Ressler was also on the Today Show, two weeks after the murder, and what he had to say is as accurate as ever:
CRIMINOLOGIST ROBERT RESSLER DISCUSSES THE JONBENET RAMSEY MURDER CASE
IN TAPED 01-09-97 INTERVIEW; CRIMINOLOGIST AND FORMER FBI AGENT ROBERT RESSLER SAYS THAT THE KIDNAPPING ASPECT OF (THE JONBENET RAMSEY) MURDER IS A SHAM AND IS MEANT TO DIVERT ATTENTION FROM THE REAL MOTIVE; AND HE SAYS THE GIRLS DEATH WAS PROBABLY ACCIDENTAL. STILL OF JONBENET RAMSEY SEEN. RESSLER SAYS THAT SOMEONE WITHIN HER IMMEDIATE CIRCLE (KILLED HER); AND SAYS THE FACT THAT THE BODY WAS LEFT IN THE HOUSE SHOWS THE MURDER WASNT PLANNED. IN ATLANTA; CLIP OF JONBENETS FUNERAL SHOWING HER PARENTS JOHN AND PATSY EXIT THE CHURCH AND WALKING THROUGH THE CROWD SEEN. RESSLER SAYS THE PARENTS BEHAVIOR HAS BEEN UNUSUAL.

Here's at least some of Starry's notes from 2000:
"Ressler's Ramsey Analysis"
Posted by starry on Jan-16-00 at 03:42 PM
Retired FBI icon, Robert K Ressler, former Supervising Special Agent of the
FBI Behavioral Science Unit instructed a class of mostly law enforcement
and medical personnel, in a Continuing Education Course for George Mason
Everything says the parents did it. The term would be a Personal cause
homicide", "accidental domestic homicide" with staging. A complete
description of classifications and lots more can be found in THE CRIMES
CLASSIFICATION MANUAL obtained from Ressler's site and Amazon Books.
Bottom line: criminal behaviors are consistent globally. They are categorized
and identifiable to those trained to recognize the patterns/characteristics .
The behaviors apparent in the murder of JonBenet Ramsey are known,
Ressler talked a lot about the ransom note. According to Ressler everything
detectives needed to know in terms of "authenticity", is found in the first
paragraph. The note is bogus.
Some note insights from Ressler:
Mr. Ramsey -- starts out formally ends up casually - Don't try to grow a
We represent a small foreign faction - what nice kidnappers to identify
In general mis-spellings unique -- difficult word like attache' correct, simple
word like bussiness incorrect.
"Harvard" word useage: behead, execution, hence, deviation, proper burial,
possession attachť. Instead of killed, and, ignore, bury, have, briefcase
A "real" ransom note says - We've got your kid. We want x dollars. We'll be
in touch.(More to come)
#994 Jun 26, 2013
More from Starry's notes:
Amount of money to be split is ridiculous.
Kidnappers never identify themselves.
Amount could not be coincidentally same as JR bonus.
Kidnapper referring to adequate size attache'(what nice kidnappers)
Ressler chuckled - "and by the way, pick up some milk".
What a nice kidnapper advising John, be well rested.
Group, we, gentlemen indicates multiple kidnappers BUT I will call you, is one
So, how many people will split a paltry $118,000?
Ressler says the note ends S.B.T.C , coincidentally the name that appeared
on basement plaque.
Ressler said that the ransom note sounded like a "bad ethnic joke".
John and Burke gave handwriting samples and were cleared. Patsy gave 5
and has not been eliminated, according to Ressler.
The note writer could have been ambidextrous.
All night to stage and write, according to Ressler.
Ressler says Patsy wrote the note.
To be continued
#995 Jun 26, 2013
More from Starry's notes:
He said that he believed it was an "accidental domestic homicide" staged. It
falls under the category of Personal Cause Homicides in the Crime
He also said that kidnappers aren't after sex, they're after money. He's
never seen a case of a sexual kidnapping. I know a lot of you will think Polly
Klass, but that was a different type of crime.
That was a sexual homicide.
Sexual Homicide: Involves a sexual element as the basis for the sequence of
acts leading to death. This may vary from offender- from rape, penetration,
fondling, etc. He removed her from her home for the sex. Not for ransom.
"Note;No Body.. No Body;Note"
Posted by starry on Jan-16-00 at 08:32 PM
Ressler said no note - body found is ok. But if there is a note, there
shouldn't be a body.
Just prior to FBI arrival, Arndt told JR to search the house.. JR made a
beeline downstairs to an already searched area. There's a body this time.
Ressler inferred the POLICE had already looked in that room and couldn't find
a light switch. He observed, "What's the matter, don't police carry
flashlights any more?"
Ramsey contaminated scene and even bumped JB's head carrying her up the
steps like a plank of wood. He stressed there have been cases that have
been worse compromised and still solved.

Sometimes, in an effort to be knowledgeable Candy, you are just mean.
To criticize the one person who spent endless hours and personal expense making sure everything out there in the public arena was categorized, indexed and available to the public on her site for FREE, and has been the absolute BEST historian on this case, bar none, you feel because you canít get YOUR hands on something immediately that you should blame ACR for it? That beats all! Sounds like the green eyed monster coming out in you AGAIN! All these poor case followers who just donít seem to live up to YOUR expectations, tsk tsk tsk.
It just so happens many of us have ALL the JW files, provided by ACR on CD, and have had them for years. The fact YOU were not included in the circle of recipients speaks more about you than ACR, and just goes to strengthen the decision made by ACR at the time as to who received them and who didnít!
