If any of the RDI theory is true, than Mr Ramsey made a deliberate and conscious decision to “discover” the body, he only needed Arnt or someone to present him with opportunity. Deliberate and conscious decision – he went to the basement knowing that he was going to “find” the body and bring it upstairs.
An “excited utterance” is something that we could expect him to make if he had “innocently” discovered the body, and if he was shocked by that discovery. This is not consistent with any RDI argument.
