Agree. Boehner did the right thing by not giving in to obama.

Self- preservation is nature's first law just remember that, you who feel that your best interest is being served by petty acts, haven't you been led down roads that looks similar to this before?

Hi Brenda. That new Republican mayor in CA is just the beginning. The leeching criminals are the only ones who will be punished, compliments of Operation Cleanup America.

Yes,they do. As long as it stays that way,we have a chance at taking this country back from the treasonous democraps and rinos (elitist peeeeckerheads).

I agree that amnesty is dead, but if we want it to stay that way we have to take the power away from the democraps (Senate), and oust the rinos.

I understand that there is negative sentiment towards Obama but immigration is an issue that needs to be faced head on. I was brought to this wonderful nation at the age of 5 unfortunately I have not felt free in this country which I know and call home. I was not aware of my status until I was applying for universities, I was accepted into top ranking schools but was unable to attend since I could pay the tuition. Despite this I attended a state university and doubled major in Biology and Public Health (minor in Chemistry). After obtaining my bachelor's degrees I completed two Masters programs in Public Health and Molecular Biology. The passage of deferred action for childhood arrivals (DACA) has allowed me to apply for jobs but this does not guarantee that I will have a stable and secure job since the continuation of the program is not indefinite. Therefore I see immigration reform as an urgent topic that needs to be resolved, I would be happy with permanent residency.

This is just another typical lying inaccurate leftwing sh*t piece article on immigration by the liberal media which is dominated by a ratio of 6 or 7 democrats to 1 republican. Bias in this sh*t piece article manifests itself not so much in the form of outright, intentional lies, although there were plenty, but more as a function of what these leftwing democratic reporters choose not to tell their readers; i.e., the facts giving both sides of the argument they purposely omit so as to avoid contradicting the leftwing political agenda narrative they wish to advance. Story after story by the leftwing democratic dominated liberal media tends to veer left, while any articles that may place the socialist democratic party and obama in an unfavorable light are simply left out - ignored- buried.

Why don't you go back to the actual country that you and your parents are citizens of and attempt to immigrate to the US legally. Your impressive resume might open up some doors for you. I'm sure that if you get in contact with some demoratic politicians and point out that you would be a future demoratic voter if they brought you in legally it would speed the process up.

I am very proud of you Liz! I am a Us citizen and support reform, I apologize on behalf of the idiots in this country that try to use scare tactics and be inhumane. Indians were here first and Mexicans are descendants of indians and spaniards. Keep praying, keep calling, God bless America and reform in2014!!
