Its so typical of people always telling us ( "Nican Tlaca" We the people here !!!!) what to think and how to act and feel.... I understand that We are a lost people , not by choice but by genocide ... you see we have been divided by land and language and taught not only to hate each other but also to hate ourselves .... We as Indigenous ppl of the Americas must come as one and stop the hate ... Like our Tata Wakatel Utiw, Wandering Wolf said:

"Heart of heaven, heart of the earth, heart of the air, heart of the water

Thank you, Father, for having given us life,

our lakes, all that we are, thank you, Father.

Honourable elders, beloved people, you who hear me, I bring this message, and
also a greeting to all who hear this voice, here is Wakatel Utiw, Wandering
Wolf, the voice of the forest, and the messenger of the Maya, who has shared
with the seven races that cover the planet Earth. I have come in fulfillment of
the prophecies, that we may all walk together, no group shall be left behind. I
am here in fulfillment of this prophecy, carrying this message to all that hear me
and to all who love the Earth, to all who love peace, and who love themselves.

We are all living beings. A tree is a life and it is an elder, the same as a human
being. A plant, while it is green, is a life. The smallest animal is a life that is part
of the life of human beings. The rocks have spirit. The volcanoes and mountains
have spirit. The rivers, oceans, and lakes have spirit. They are all children of the
Father. This is why I have come. I am the voice of the forest, the messenger of
the Maya. I come to invite you to defend our Mother Earth and see that we
continue to love the beauty of this great woman. We are millions and millions of
human beings and we are destroying her. We are mistreating her. We are
denuding and polluting her. When the Mother Earth is no longer suitable our life
will be worthless. We are creating our own misfortune, our own death.

The Mayan Prophecies tell us it is time to awaken, time for the dawn, so that
the people will have peace and will be happy. The Mayan Prophecies also tell
us, from so much walking, so much seeking, that what we are seeking, what we
have to find, at last we have found it. We are here on Earth, where we want to
be. This time has come: 13 Baktun 13 A'jau, the return of the grandparents, the
return of the wise ones to the measure of time. We are observing the control of
time. The time has come. May the people awaken. May they arise. May we all
walk together without distinction of race, color or creed, rich or poor, black or
white, indigineous or non-indigineous, people and government, to build a country
full of peace, love, tranquility and prosperity.

This is the message of the Wandering Wolf, who has travelled throughout the
Americas and who walks. Walks without money but the Father knows what he
is doing with me. I do not know where I am going. I do not know where I shall
stay. I do not know if we shall ever see each other again or not but I will leave
this message wherever I go. I leave it in the mind. I leave it in the heart. I leave
it in each breast, in each soul of my brothers and sisters where I have been.
Leaving this message in the minds of each one of you.
Cultivate it. Practice it. This is not bought or sold, it is a thing that we have to do
ourselves. We cannot wait for someone else to do it.

There have always been destroyers. They destroy peace. They destroy the
environment. They destroy the beauty of Mother Earth. They pollute space.
Scientists say we have even ruptured the balance of the Ozone layer but let us
rebuild and plant more trees. We do not have much time or life left. We have
only 14 years until the year Zero. After the year Zero there shall be peace.
There will be peace even if there are no survivors. Of course there will be peace.
We need to cultivate peace. Let us love one another. Let us defend the Earth,
our Mother, and respect our Father. His sacred mandate is among us.

We are the ones who have forgotten. We have forsaken. We have gone down a
path that is not ours. The false preachings of false religions are destroying our
own. Each people in America has its own language, its own culture. What is ours
is ours. We have no need to take from another. I am Mayan. I am travelling
through this land but I don't come to convert you into Mayans. I come to tell
you let us defend the Mother Earth. Defend our life and the lives of our
children. You in your language. You in your tradition. You in your way of
praying and making your offering. Making your payment to the Father so that
there may be peace, there may be love.

You and I may meet again in another dimension after the year Zero. The year
Zero is the word of the Maya. On March 31, 2013 the sun will be hidden for a
period of 60-70 hours and this is when we shall enter the period of the Fifth
Sun. Then will you realize that what the Mayans speak are facts and not false
preachings. We are not saying that the world will end in 2000. There are false
ones who say these things to frighten and threaten the world without awakening.
But the Mayan priests and astronomers know what is happening and see what
shall happen in the future. This is my only message. I do not come to intimidate
you. I come to say that we should love one another. Let us walk together. We
are all children and we pray that our Father be with us. Thank you."

So if the Aztec(Mexica), Mayan, etc are not native american (meaning native to the Americas) then what are they? I always thought they where the same race but differant in culture and langauge. I know not all mexcians are brown, there are white, black and asian also. The brown people where there before it was mexico and before it was New Spain. So what to u call the race of these brown people? Also, not just in Mexico, what about the brown people of Canada and South America?( I mean race, not nationality or ethnicity.) Not trying to be offensive, just curious.

He said that the white men conquered them in the battlefield, then "illegal aliens" have the right to conquer the U.S. in any way they want. He has been conquered by the Europeans as well, he is just weak "if you cant beat them join them" fuck that, we all humans and deserve to be wherever we want. Its just the human thing to do, but i see many united statiens are intolerant. Though i have to admit, is the law that stops us, we have no choice.

Dr. David A. Yeagley, an American Indian and direct descendant of the Comanche warrior Bad Eagle says it best:
America today is making the same mistake we Indians made nearly four centuries ago. America is letting in too many foreigners. And we Indians could end up losing this country all over again. It may come as surprise to many white people who have been brainwashed by the media to see Indians as the ultimate liberals, but there are few groups in America today who take a dimmer view of mass immigration than the American Indian.
The Comanches were one of the most intolerant of all Indian peoples. We had no use for anyone else, white, Mexican or Indian. When we came thundering down on the southwest plains, we took the land we wanted and ran everyone else off. We created the life we wanted, at the expense of other people. The white man did the same. Only he did it on a grander scale.
In many ways, Indians see the white man as a kind of adopted son -- naive, reckless and destructive, at times -- but nevertheless cut from the same warrior cloth as we were. We do not see black, Mexicans, Asians, Arabs and others in this light. These peoples may have their own virtues and traditions, but they have no history with us. They are strangers. If they want to rule us, they must conquer us the way the white man did -- on the battlefield, by force of arms. That is the only honorable way for a warrior.
The white man seems to have lost his spirit. We see that he is giving this country away to [illegal alien] others, and this fills our hearts with fear. For we are part of the land he is giving away ... The white man must regain his warrior soul and take back his land! In that fight, I will stand by his side and offer whatever strength I have to ensure his victory!"
this has got to be the most racist and delusional shit I've ever heard. Native Americans fighting together ha ha ha.

Boy isnīt this the height of ignorance. What precisely are the aztecs? I somehow do not believe this person to be comanche either because there are quite a few Comanche indians in Mexico my friend. Surely you understand that the Mexicans were here long before white man sat their foot upon this land. They were Indians then and they are still Indians to this day.
I have to wonder what kind of brainwashing a person requires not to realize that the people in Mexico look just like the Indians here.
Also, before the US gained the area where the Comanche lived and roamed it belonged to Mexico.
A fact you perhaps do not know is that the Cherokee led by Seqouyah traveled into Mexico and established a reservation there that still exists to this day. so donīt give me the stupid song and dance about Mexicans not being Indian they are more Indian than most the nuts running around the US calling themselves Cherokee when they are either ZERO Cherokee or very little...blond hair and English roots and all...and trying to convince folks they are Cherokee...ha! Sorry that it disappoints you that you are wrong but it is so easy to prove it that it isnīt even worth my time.
thank you for being educated, i hate it when stupid people post, my fiance is a full blood nez perce and we live next to her reservation. i have a hard time proving to her people that Mexicans are native american, yeah there's a lot of other nationalities mixed in but the heart of them is native. anyone not smart enough to see this just has to read or look up ancient mexican cultures, i know that some of the idiots on here cant read so you'll just have to google image it. and for Comanche joe up there, if you want your people to stand together, stop kicking them out of the circle. besides, if you kick out all the illegals, whos gonna do all the jobs you lazy asses wont? if all the illegals went home,,,wouldn't Europe be over populated? haha.

This alienation resonates profoundly throughout the culture. On the one hand, Mexico proudly acknowledges its Indian ancestry; on the other, it clearly prizes whiteness as a status symbol. It endlessly questions its identity: Is it modern or ancient, Spanish or Indian? And the Cortes/Malinche story, instead of defining Mexico's origins in a constructive way, merely prolongs and exacerbates the country's ambivalence about its history as a conquered nation.

Mexican mestizaje -- racial and cultural synthesis -- may have begun in a violent conquest, but it didn't end there. Interracial love and attraction also played a role. Ultimately, racial mixture was rampant, and it combined with a rigid colonial caste system to create a society in which race was a malleable category. Mexicans developed -- in the words of Mexican American poet Gloria Anzaldua -- "a tolerance for contradictions, a tolerance for ambiguity," particularly in the realm of race and culture.

As Mexicans came north to the United States, that long history of mestizaje was also brought to bear on another cultural force, Anglo America. One scholar, Roberto Bacalski-Martinez, has described Mexican American culture in the Southwest as "incredibly ancient on the one hand, and surprisingly new on the other. Indian, Spanish, Mexican and Anglo elements have gone into its formation, and they continue to affect it. In each case, the introduction of new elements began as a clash between two peoples which eventually resulted in a newer, richer culture."

Where did Mexicans come from?
They have a choice of 'origin myths'-- one a tale of betrayal, another a story of beauty.
