It is not a lack of funds or an unwillingness to help either. It is incompetence and the one size fits all of modern government that is the culprit.

I disagree. I think you do slap the poor when you wrap then all in your blanket. It was your statement and there was no clarification.
There are also Families of American citizens and other Americans living in cars, etc. Yes there are those that abuse the system and then there are the poor.

White people live rent free in your head.
.
The fact that you have white relatives is immaterial. I know black people who have no white relatives and they can articulate a better argument. Having an opinion is pointless if it is not backed up by knowledge and experience.

I am going to move on, maybe I can find out Obama's plan for those unemployed miners (I'm betting he'll just load them up with welfare). I would suggest they get a 1 way ticket to San Francisco and let that crowd take care of them.
My white family members live in my heart, not my head. That's another thing you can't quite grasp but it doesn't surprise me. Being that as it may, I have zero tolerance for racists of all colors but especially racist in power which is a dangerous thing.

I have pointed out over and over some of Obama's accomplishments and you have conveniently ignored them (as does the rest of your party) over and over again.

1. Kept us out of a depression
2. Saved the auto industry in Ohio
3. Ended the war in Iraq
4. Saved people's homes
5. Reducing the number of troops in Afganistan and bringing them home
6. Saved Wall Street and headed off the trickle effect if wall street was to go bust.
7. Brought Osama bin Laden to justice (unlike the promise you're puppet president didn't keep! He thought he was in Iraq (smirk!)
8. Aided the people of NJ during Hurricane Sandy and put his campaign on hold (unlike your candidate passing out can goods in Ohio where there was no devasting disaster.
9. Shows up where's he's needed when disaster strikes the American People, i.e. mass shootings at Sandy Hook
10. Fighting corporations by attempting to find cheaper sources of energy for the American people (not going back to the dark ages, risking life and limb for coal! Trying to make us independent from middle-eastern oil sources!
11. Creating jobs
12. Emproving the enconomy and the numbers show it.
13. Standing up for the rights of women and gays
14. Standin up for American families by approving the family leave programs
15. Standing up for college students burdended by debt
16. Working to improve our educational system

There's more but I can here your teeth grinding, see the disdain on your face and the denial forming on your lips. However, it doesn't matter.

You're a lazy so-called intellectual as you only look for sources of information that align with your right-wing and corporate approving views. Next we'll see you all marching in support of poor farm laborers, the hungry, jobless, mental health, families, etc. Wouldn't that be something!

BS! Faux talking points in their spin zone, lol. What you all fail to realize is that there is nothing Obama has done that rises to the level of TREASON like your former presidet and vice president. You all have tried desperately to come up with something to use againt him.

Look at the simple chit you posted! More Embassy members died under Bush than Obama and none of you have chit to say. I'll even give you a gift, a lot were murdered under Clinton too. He didn't lie about a DAMN thing!

Who put the prioners guantanomo? Huh?
Who also favored granting illegals amnesty?
Who deregulated banking and wall street thereby causing the problems in the first place, huh?

He had to clean up REPUBLICAN CHIT! And you all have the nerve to complain, find fault???? BS! Your party plucked up! Your parties policies DID NOT WORK! They damn near bankrupted and destroyed this nation and hell no you don't get another chance to do more damage.

1) There never was going to be a depression.
2) Standard bankruptcy would have saved the auto industry and would have protected bond holder rights.
3) I said that already.
4) Has restarted the process that helped cause the 2007 crash with Eric Holder pushing for home loans to people who can barely afford them to be "fair".
5) I said that one too.
6) Wall Street would have been fine without the "help".
7) No argument, he did help Bin Laden meet his maker.
8) New York asked that Obama not show up. Bush did not go into New Orleans because of the disruption a presidential visit can cause.
9) Shows up where ever there is a tv camera.
10) Coal mining is mainly open pit and not very dangerous.
11) Wildly over payed for so called "new" jobs.
12) Same economic numbers under Bush were considered the end of the Earth, the end of society and the end of civilization and we were all doomed. Obama is racking up debt big time and even the Democrats admit they have no idea as to how to pay for it. Ask Obama and his response is: I think it's time I go for a little trip somewhere.
13,14) Nice sound bites but some laws were designed to make lawyers richer than offer fair solutions. The Leadbetter law can actually create incentives to reduce employment.
15) His solutions seem to be designed to make sure colleges have plenty of money to tap into. No real attempt has been made to reduce the cost of a college education. Oh, they trim a little here and there for appearances, but serious cost reduction will not happen in the academic club.

I hate to break your heart, most of my information comes from a variety of financial sources that are not politically based. There are even Democrat leaning economists that feel Obama is doing a lot of long term damage and they say so based on numbers, not feelings. Even where politics is involved, I still look for accurate or at least plausible numbers.
.
Getting back to the coal industry, some of the decline is due to the increase in use of natural gas and not dictations from the federal government. Coal fired plants have become cleaner over the years, coal is home mined and good for the balance of payments. Alternative energy is a nice theory but is more expensive and not as reliable. It is rarely mentioned natural gas fired plants have to kept on standby for when wind turbines fail to produce enough power.
.
Issues like the keystone pipeline are emotional, if Canada can not sell it's oil to the US, they will happily sell their oil to China and China has already made it clear they'll purchase every last drop so no useful purpose will be served by denying the XL pipeline. The same with coal. China intends to burn coal for electric generation regardless of what the world thinks so why shoot ourselves in the economic foot over it?
.
Clearly Obama is working in the service of Silicon Valley interests. They put big money into him and they want their payback.
Obama's endless regulations produced to make that crowd happy have had bad affects on the economy overall. By 1932 the economy was working it's way out of the Great Depression and by the election of 1932 job creation was happening in a big way. Too late for Herbert Hoover, great for FDR. Only problem was FDR's endless meddling stunted the recovery and kept the country in an economic slow down for 10 years. Obama said he wanted to be more like FDR, I'd say he has accomplished just that.

Another thing people on here fail to consider is that a great number of these illegal immigrants end up involved in crime and gangs! Has any seen how rapidly Mexican and Salvadorians gangs are now gaining turf on the East Coast?

"A vast army of heavily armed criminals has embedded itself in every major city in the United States. In fact, nearly every community in America is now affected by these thugs. Drugs, theft and brutal violence are all part of the every day lifestyle of the members of this army. They aggressively recruit our young people and floods of illegal immigrants are joining their ranks. Once civil unrest erupts in America, they will go on a crime spree that will be absolutely unprecedented and they will burn large areas of some U.S. cities to the ground. So who am I talking about? I am talking about the rapidly growing gangs that are terrorizing cities all over the nation. The FBI tells us that there are now 1.4 million gang members involved in the 33,000 different gangs that are active inside the United States. The number of gang members in the U.S. has increased by 40 percent since 2009. Just think about that. That is absolutely astounding."

Like I said before. Spain was too weak at her end in the region to populate, settle or govern what is now the Southwest U.S. and after the Battle of Trafalgar couldn't even protect itself in Mexico against the Apache, Comanche and Kiowa, let alone an insurrection.
The royalist fought with the Spanish against independence until Bonaparte was installed and then they were gung ho and all for independence once it was made easy for them lol
What is funny is you talk about the Treaties of Velasco and Hidalgo as being "unconstitutional".
What? lol
The so called constitution had already been violated a thousand times by the Mexicans themselves and long before the Yanks had showed up in Texas. lol
Mexico was not a Democracy and the people had no say in what the rich land owners did or decreed...don't make me laugh....a constitution? lol
And as far as Mexico?
It was soundly defeated, and as defeated nations throughout history, had to abide by the terms of defeat.
It was a conquest. And historically there's nothing unique about that. Just about every country in the world was formed by some type of conquest and just about all the real estate in the world has been conquered and re-conquered, some of it quite a few times.
That includes Mexico. The modern Mexican view is that the evil Spaniards conquered Mexico. But when Hernan Cortes arrived in 1519, the present-day country of Mexico did not exist. lol
The Aztec Empire (itself a product of conquest) only covered about a quarter of present-day Mexico.
After the Spaniards conquered that empire, they went on conquering numerous other indigenous entities, including the Tarascan Empire, enemy of the Aztec Empire, thus assembling the enormous colony of "Nueva EspaƱa", which was renamed Mexico after independence.
During the history of independent Mexico, the government has repeatedly used force to subdue rebellious tribes and areas and keep them in Mexico. So yes, Mexico was formed by conquest as well.
Nor is invading a neighbor country at all rare. In fact, it's the most common form of international invasion there is.
And supposing the Mexican War hadn't started in 1846, it's quite probable Mexico would have lost the territories anyway.
The southwest was far from the heartland of Mexico, and because of Mexico's weakness, it was largely unsettled and that includes most of Northern Mexico too.
That is why your assertions are so ridiculous and absurd, sorry.
In the 1840s, there was speculation that the British, the French or the Russians might try to take it all and one or all three would have split it up thru treaties, all involving Mexico's debt delinquency to all including Spain and the U.S.A.
But the most likely possibility would have been that growing communities of American settlers would have revolted, seceded from Mexico, and joined the U.S.
It was the Texas dispute that provoked the Mexican War. Americans had settled in Texas, they didn't assimilate, they became the majority, and seceded from Mexico in 1836.
And like I said before, it was not the first time that Mexico lost territory.
Upon independence in 1821, Central America had been part of Mexico, but Mexico lost that territory in the 1820s.
Funny, I never hear about a Mexicans b*tch and moan over Central America.
You never hear talk of the reconquista of Central America do you?
Gee I wonder why? lol
No, the Mexicans huffed and puffed at the U.S. and boasted over land that neither they or the Spaniards had any control over and that's why they invited to gringos to inhabit this region to begin with.
The problem is they wanted to be the Lords over the land without having to fight or shed blood, sweat or tears over this land to finally Settle it.
Your racist spiel provides no factual arguments, only opinion that Mexico deserved it. Excuse upon excuse for imperialism. Interesting that Abraham Lincoln in Congress completely disagreed with your naziesque imperialist strutting, boy.

Get out.

Obama said he wanted to be more like FDR, I'd say he has accomplished just that.
More Faux News screed.
If industry had been working on alternative energy, it would now be developed and cheap. How amusing that you faux-patriots think USA ingenuity and enterprise is so great but you can't figure out how to make clean energy! LOL... morons.
Coal is dirty. We have some serious consequences of pollution looming. Corporations want to pretend it isn't happening, so of course you march in time to whatever they want you to believe.
You idiotic chump. Tool. Fool. Schmuck.

<quoted text>BS!
HYPOCRITE!
Amazing how little these rightwing hacks have against Obama. It's all rhetorical nonsense! Silicon Valley owns him? What? LOL... he LIED about this and that. Etc.

Boring. I'm on the Left and voted for Obama twice, and I can come up with far more REAL criticism of his Administration than these racist reactionary dittoheads who hate him! LOL...

And most of the crap they complain about is the same stuff Dubya, er, Cheney, was doing.

Pathetically deluded pack of halfwits, these rightists.
