I would have thought the Democrats would have cried for gun control after the LAX shooting. They are losing their touch. Oh, that is right, Legal Gun owners have a hammerlock on Congress. Gee, it is that pesky 2nd Amendment thing I bet. That must be killing them. Well, as long as you keep electing an over zealous bunch of radicals you can know up front we will never give up our guns. It is that pry it from my cold, dead hand thing!! Life is good. It is looking good for Republicans in the off year election next year.

f you think gun control legislation hasn’t moved in this country since the Newtown shooting, think again. There’s been plenty of activity in the states, even though no gun legislation has passed through Congress. And while states that passed tougher restrictions on gun ownership receive plenty of attention, several states have moved in the opposite direction.
Lawmakers in Connecticut, one of the latest states to take action, approved a package early Thursday beefing up gun laws. Here’s a look at states that have passed or considered gun legislation since the Newtown shooting:
APPROVED MORE GUN RESTRICTIONS
california, new york, colorado, etc.etc.
All being contested in court, and all soon to be overturned. Face it sycophant, your side was given a major kick in the head in the last two U.S.S.C. decisions. And when the court is finally forced to address the "shall not be infringed" aspect. It'll be OVER for you traitors.

"The second amendment declares that it shall not be infringed, but this, as has been seen, means no more than that it shall not be infringed by Congress. This is one of the amendments that has no other effect than to restrict the powers of the national government, leaving the people to look for their protection against any violation by their fellow citizens of the rights it recognizes, to what is called, in The City of New York v. Miln, 11 Pet. 139, the "powers which relate to merely municipal legislation, or what was, perhaps, more properly called internal police," "not surrendered or restrained" by the Constitution of the United States."--U.S. Supreme Court, United States v. Cruikshank, 92 U.S. 542 (1875).

"A reference to a few of the provisions of the Constitution will illustrate this proposition.

"For example, no one, we presume, will contend that Congress can make any law in a Territory respecting the establishment of religion, or the free exercise thereof, or abridging the freedom of speech or of the press, or the right of the people of the Territory peaceably to assemble and to petition the Government for the redress of grievances.

"Nor can Congress deny to the people the right to keep and bear arms, nor the right to trial by jury, nor compel anyone to be a witness against himself in a criminal proceeding.

"These powers, and others in relation to rights of person which it is not necessary here to enumerate, are, in express and positive terms, denied to the General Government, and the rights of private property have been guarded with equal care."--Chief Justice Roger Taney, United States Supreme Court, Scott v. Sandford, 60 U.S. 393 (1856).

Too bad for you and your fellow treasonous sycophants, eh?

It is better to ban aggression including all these military, war, violant computer games, aggression in medias, aggression in all these films. To reduce these factors, which make simple people aggressive. To change so called lifestyle.
If it will lead to criminalisation then what about the ugandan security guards with guns even in shops? look it up on http://myheraldmagazine.com/

You posted "Here’s a look at states that have passed or considered gun legislation since the Newtown shooting:" Then you named three states in a row.

How many states have added to their gun laws and how many have relaxed their gun laws? You may not be happy with the answer if you research it.

Correct. As a full 10% of the states are now Constitutional carry. And there are more moving in that direction.

AR to Become ‘Constitutional Carry’ State

In July, 2013, Arkansas will become the fifth state in the United States to enact “Constitutional Carry” into law. Act 746 of the 2013 General Assembly was signed into law by Governor Mike Beebe on April 4th, 2013, after receiving only one “nay” vote from the legislature.

Constitutional Carry occurs in a state when no laws exist that generally restrict the carry of handguns (open or concealed) for self-defense purposes. Arkansas law 5-73-120 currently prohibits the possession of a handgun if it is possessed “readily available for use with a purpose to employ the handgun… as a weapon against a person”, which puts the burden of proof of legal carry upon the person carrying the handgun. Act 746 changes the prohibitive language in July ...

Thus Arkansas joins Vermont, Arizona, Alaska, and Wyoming in enjoying full “constitutional carry” rights.(Certain parts of Montana and New Mexico have such systems, too.) Effectively,“constitutional carry” means that citizens are presumed to enjoy the right to bear arms as a matter of course, rather than that right’s being contingent upon a permitting process. This is clearly preferable even to liberal permitting regimes, not just because it better abides by the logic of Anglo-American liberty but because it removes the scope for middlemen to interfere or to use the system as a means of raising money....
