"Guns don't make a nation safer.

That's the conclusion of a study that found a strong correlation between gun ownership rates and the risk of death by firearms in more than a dozen developed countries."

you left this part out from the study, maraudertard....from Scientific American:
Asked about the higher estimates, a spokesman for the American Hospital Association said the group has more confidence in the IOM's estimate of 98,000 deaths. ProPublica asked three prominent patient safety researchers to review James' study, however, and all said his methods and findings were credible.
What's the right number? Nobody knows for sure. There's never been an actual count of how many patients experience preventable harm. So we're left with approximations, which are imperfect in part because of inaccuracies in medical records and the reluctance of some providers to report mistakes.
Are ANY of the numbers sited less than annual gun deaths...?..didn't think so.

You're still an ignorant, "frustrated control freak".

Suppose the Government could begin grabbing the guns tomorrow. They have no information on the illegal guns, if they did they could pick up them first. No, it will be the legal guns first. And the illegal guns as they commit crimes. Who will protect the legal gun owners? DHS, they are as crooked as the gangs. DEA, same. FBI, All the same. That ability for the powerful to over power the common man is what drove the Founders to make sure everyone, not just the criminals could protect themselves. We saw in that Chicago park last week, and also in DC Navy yard how well strict gun controls work.

I for one am 100% for gun control. Thatís why I shoot with both hands on the weapon and practice occasionally shooting one handed, weak hand and strong hand when firing handguns.

As a retard person, speaking to cne with such unremarkable logic, how was my logic flushed?
The military folks were not armed, and Military, or local police would have to find the shooter to deal with him.

Republicans have done everything they could think of to repeal, defund, undermine and otherwise disrupt Obamacare. But they've failed, and that's why they've turned to a last-ditch strategy to stop the law and take away the rights of millions of Americans to get the health care they need.
These roadblocks and restrictions have caused groups to withdraw from the program and return their navigator grants. This is why President Obama in Maryland today criticized the Republicans for creating these sorts of "roadblocks" for the "churches and charities" working as navigators to educate the public about enrollment.
The Republicans claim these laws are about protecting consumers. But Georgia's commissioner of insurance cleared that up when he boasted on video that he was doing everything he could to be "an obstructionist" to Obamacare.

point was that he never used his gun..so there was no point in mentioning that he had one stuck in his shorts...the poster was trying to imply the gun came in handy...perhaps for scratching his balls..
Yes, but your original implycation was that a pistol would be of no use, which was false.

there is a reason the ak-47 was invented.....try to figure it out...
in the time it takes you aim and get a shot off, I will have sprayed you with a few dozen holes....
Thank you for recognizing my brillance. You, while attempting to twist the point hopefully understand that having a pistol in self defence, is better than picking your nose.
The AK was developed after the capture of WW2 German 7.92X33 intermediate round semi, and full automatic rifles. The Soviets recoginized that most combat was under 400 yards, and full power rifles were not needed.
I would consider letting you shoot at me with a 9mm British Sten at 1200 yards.
But would you risk being shot at with a pistol at 100 yards?

The AK was invented by people who understood some day this country would have to fight again for her independence. Never take a knife to a gunfight.

WOW...this guy must be another NRA member....
(I loved it when they criticized Obama for having armed security for his kids when taking them to school....that was brilliant as well)....
Not an NRA member, but British SAS, British military, ex or not.
If people criticised Obama for having armed guards for his children, it had to be done in jest. That would almost be like those in government exempting themselves medically from Obamacare.
