Yes I get it, but are you agreeing with me or disagreeing with me?
Do you think Rubio is going to come off as an ally to most Hispanic American voters, or will he come off more as a Cubano dickhead?
The point is the GOP does not even realize such a thing exists because if you speak spanish, you vote democrat, and they beleive they have "one of your own" to make you see how great the GOP is and vote blindly for Rubio.
I'm more of a beleif that is the GOP really understood the Hispanic vote they would maybe gravitate more towards a southwestern 3rd or 4th generation Mexican American, not a Cubano who might be able to deliver them Miami, but probably not even pull that off.
And lastly, Rubio is not very impressive. He does not have a commanding personality, or great presence, nor has he made anything good happen for FL or the GOP. He's basically just been Rick Scott's bitch.
He's just a GOP token. And most people hispanic or otherwise are going to figure that out quickly. He will vanish long before 2016.
He's a bad choice for the all wrong reasons, plain and simple.
Don't worry. As we saw in the last election, the vast majority (73%) of Hispanics are more La Raza Racist Chicanos like the Mayor of Los Angeles we saw at the DNC who "partied" all night with Charles Sheen in Cabo than proud American Hispanics.

With only 27% caring what happens to their children their grand children, or our Country, I think the Obama people are in very good shape for many elections to come.

As much as it appears we have become a 3rd world country we still have some laws we insist on obeying. The current Presient cannot run for a 3d term.

Wanna bet? No one thought Americans would give him a second term. Prepare yourself for Obama being elevated to the status of "Dear Leader" for life.

La Raza's presidente is a Miami Cuban.

"MIAMI – For the first time, one of the nation's foremost Latino civil rights organizations has selected a Cuban-American to chair its board.

The National Council of La Raza was expected to announce Wednesday that Miami native and public relations guru Jorge Plasencia, 38, will lead its board. He is only the third non Mexican-American to serve in that role in more than four decades. Plasencia replaces Phoenix attorney Daniel R. Ortega"

Rubio lies non stop but the ethnic voting junta here doesn't care they are used to CONSTANT lies by the Miami political "Cosa Nostra" and aslong as it is another Miami Cuban they seem to love it.

The funniest lie by Miami standards is when he said he "thought" pft that his parents fled Fidel but it turns out they fled fascist Batistas failed policies.
TWO FULL yrs before Fidel they came here , it looked like little self serving Rubio had to rewrite his first chaper in his book.

There are politicians in Miami like Republican Carlos Bermudez the ex-mayor of Doral who are fantastic but Rubio is a con artist who has NEVER done a damn thing for Florida but one lame speech after another.

I find it typical of that self serving ,con artist to have the audacity to call himself "Americas Son". If you want to see "Americas Son" look at military veterans who have served and fought for this country .The little Miami con artist is NOT Americas Son.

"Senator Rubio Votes Against Violence Against Women Act"

WASHINGTON (CBSMiami)– Just hours ahead of stepping in front of the cameras to give the Republican response to President Barack Obama’s State of the Union address; Senator Marco Rubio voted against the reauthorization of the Violence Against Women Act.

The VAWA passed the Senate, despite Rubio’s no vote, by a 78-22 margin. All 22 of those who voted against the reauthorization of the bill were men

It's ok. No one expects you and your kind to have any gratitude for the blessings of being American.
That is one of the defining characteristics of all "Everything for the Race" types. It's the Chicano version of the KKK.

I love it when the GOP accuses Obama of constantly campigning.
Then 4 years before the next Presidental election, they bring out their Latino vote getter, Rubio and try to make his inept ass look presidental, and begin his very long 4 year campign of failure.
With that said, I hope to god Hillary does not run. She ain't so good. I think maybe both partys would do better to concentrate on today and work together to fix the mess we are in, and maybe wait
until 2016 to start working on putting their own looser in the WH.
Rubio is not the GOP's answer.
Hillary is not the Dems answer either.

Both Party's SUCK. We must demand drug tests and term limits for ALL politicians anywhere in the Country especially Washington. Two Terms and OUT.
The whole concept of Public Service gets lost in the never ending Fund Raising for the next election.

I have to believe that the vast majority of Americans from BOTH sides of the aisle dont' want a permanent Class of Elites ( NO MATTER WHO THEY ARE!)
controlling our lives. We are better than that.

If not, we are a Nation of Nobodys putting on our Blue or Red Jackets before stumble off the abyss.

What we need is not immigration reform. We need congressional reform. We need to demand that those in elected to political office be paid no more than the average yearly income in their district as determined by the IRS. I think that is a great incentive pay plan. The more your taxpayers make the more you make. We also need to demand that elected positions do not receive “special” health insurance or retirement plans. If Obama care is good enough for us and IRAs or 401Ks are good enough for us then they are good enough for out elected officials. The one thing our founders tried to prevent was the career politician but rather the citizen politician. Sadly over the years we the people have allowed this to change. We thought our country and our system were doing just fine and now we wake up and see that the country is being run by the same aristocratic mentality that our forefathers fought against.

I'm not sure what you mean,
But if you are asking who I think should run in 2016, the answer is no one I've seen yet.
No sitting congressman deserves it.

No name I've hesrd or read about. Maybe we left the next year or 2 go on without worrying about, and somewhere in 2015 someone may show some promise...but even then it's doubtful.

"When ripping off the mortgage industry became the thing to do, it was Cuban exiles who were at the forefront of many of the schemes that used patsies like Miami Assistant Fire Chief Valdora Arthur as willing accomplices.

Almost every week for the last 15 years or so, nary a week goes by without a major announcement from the FBI and the Justice Department of some new, multi-count indictment against multiple defendants for Medicare, Medicaid, or mortgage fraud that include Cubans often being cited as the leaders of these gangs.

You would think that at some point they would have run out of Cubans to indict, but obviously the pool of Cubans willing to engage in these crimes surpasses the ability of the FBI to catch them all."
