Immigration bill clears Senate test

Historic immigration legislation cleared a key Senate hurdle with votes to spare on Monday, pointing the way to near-certain passage within days for stepped up security along the border with Mexico and a chance at citizenship for millions living in the country illegally.

This is creepy. The Senators who support destroying the Two Party system and enslaving American families to pay for billions in benefits and services as soon as the millions are "legalized" are on the verge of a GREAT victory over the American people.

What exactly is the pathway to citizenship?

What exactly is the pathway to citizenship?

Criminals should be knocked off that path including identity theives who used stolen social security numbers. ILLEGAL immigrants who committed fraud, A CRIME should also be knocked off the path to citizenship. An ILLEGAL immigrant deadbeat who didn't pay their medical bills/emergency room visits and should have declared bankruptcy should be knocked off the path to citizenship-WHATS THAT? ILLEGAL immigrants don't have a real social security number and/or US credit rating to trash like a US citizen slapped with something like a massive emergency medical bill.

The really stupid thing is that many who will want citizenship will still wind up working under the table off book as do many American citizens. New taxing revenue-pfffttttt.

What are they going to do if they pass immigration reform and EVERYBODY doesn't come out of the shadows to obtain 'legal status' AND start paying tax on their income?

Will they be prosecuted/deported for not getting 'legal'?(which immigration hasn't done much of anyway)

Will those that do obtain 'legal status' DEMAND they be paid by check (instead of cash) and make certain their employer is DEDUCTING income tax from their pay? Will they be PURSUED by the IRS for NOT paying income tax?

Just wondering ....

That's the thing, they'll take their legal status. At the sametime they will continue to work under the table except they will be able to use more benefits. The only good thing is maybe they could lose their citizenship if they get caught working under the table while using benefits for a no income/broke person.

As long as the "legalized" are wise enough to stay in the failed Blue State's of Dishonor and Disgrace like California they will be free from any obligation to forgo working under the table while taking billions in "benefits" from the pathetic American tax payers.
