You should be looking at this a different way... Instead of focusing on not understanding punctuation, you should be scared... Because its going to be people my age that are going to be running things in your future. You should hope that more teenagers educate themselves before hand so we dont end up with another mistake in office. There are young voters that dont give a damn! They dont care. To them, voting is just marking a piece of paper. Is that what it is to you? Do you care about the future of this country or more importantly, YOUR future? So, by your attitude, Im assuming that you would prefer uneducated voters. If young voters do not educate themselves, then i can guarantee you that it will only get worse from here.

Im 17 years old. I know there is a lot i dont know, and im eager to learn. I will be able to vote in the next presidential election, as well as alot of the people i know. I will NOT be voting for Hillary Clinton, nor anyone like her, or our current president. Most of the people I know choose to remain uninformed in any way shape or form about politics.
You have the right idea about getting informed and hopefully you can influence your peers to do the same. But be wary of the media because they all have an agenda they are peddling. Fox is half neocon and half conservative and every other major station is liberal, some more extreme than others. Just take the facts and apply them to your way of thinking and your moral values. Do yourself a favor and don't take any TV analyst, newspaper, politician or even professor at face value. The fact that you have the desire to become informed tells me you will be an asset to this country. Good luck

When some of the young people came to hang out at our house they didn't know who the Vice President was. Now they know all about our politicians, and will be voting right in November. Wonderful thing, the young mind, so easily informed.

I'm not denying your right to have an opinion. But you don't shed much light on what that is. And I'm all for education, because education is a leading cause of liberalism. So you understand my bias.

Demeaning others without saying why can take you only so far. If you want to specify your ideas and objections, I'll respond. Your age doesn't make you less qualified to talk about the issues than many older Topix posters. Neither does it make you more qualified. I value my own deeply held opinions, and am quite willing to have them challenged by anyone of any age.

Boy, I would guess the more educated and intelligent young people in the more open minded houses know who the vice president is.

Especially if they are able to show their grasp of intelligence to open minded adults.

Clinton will also get the entire single women, gay, Hispanic, Black vote as Republicans have all but alienated them

Reality Check...

there is a limited number of angry old white bigots to support the Republican party.

why do you suppose they are angry and old? Maybe they been paying taxes for 40-50 years just to see you libs give away everything under the sun to the 'poor'? Wagon pullers can only pull so many wagon riders, before they become old and angry.
