SMYRNA, Tenn. -- Three times, Fani Gonzalez packed a suitcase, clutched her daughters in a tearful goodbye and begged the Virgin of Guadalupe for a miracle - anything, just anything, that could keep her from Fani Gonzalez was told to buy a bus ticket back to Mexico, but she decided she wouldn't leave her family behind.

American immigration laws need to be enforced!
An AMERICAN could have been working for Mary Kay, but they gave the job to an illegal Mexican. Mary Kay Cosmetics should be imposed a penalty for hiring illegals.
You are clearly clueless about Mary Kay and the MLM business.

No one "gives" you a job. This is not like getting a job at McDonalds. You PAY for the right to sell the stuff, just as with any other multi-level marketing company.

You get paid based on how well you sell product and recruit others.

Frankly, I'm shocked that she was able to be successful at this sort of business (which is difficult to succeed in even for native born Americans).

She must be pretty damned smart to have so well in a short time in a country where she was not a native and not a native speaker of the language.

We should probably keep her, and send slow witted Americans to Mexico in exchange.

Do you have any interest in going to Mexico?

mexico is a big country. if she was having problems in one city, she could move to another.
another thing, mexico is not a poor country. it is one where the rich there do not want to help their poor brothers.
bottomline, why should america and americans be forced to assist her?
why isn't that the responsibility of her home country?
the world is full of poor people who need assistance. why are we being forced to sacrifice our needs.. the futures of our own children to save these people?
that is not right.
Why should Americans assist Asians like you? Hell... lets send your family back too.

if you think this country is so fuckd up, why don't you leave?
frankly, it's people who think like you that makes it look fuckd up.
if somebody is illegal, they have absolutely no business being in the usa. PERIOD.
I don't give a hoot that these people are not happy with their home countries. it doesn't mean we are obligated to help them.
your compassion to help them is out of place.
it is obvious YOU would jeopardize the future of our own children to help foreigners.
Believe me when I say don't go there about children. My children are dual citizens of Mexico and the U.S. I never said anything about anyone doing anything illegally. I said if you know fow to f***ing read, is that I understand why they want out of their countries. It is not only Mexicans who are illegally immigrating here, it us Honduras, Guatamalans, and others. My husband has followed all the immigration laws and is here legally. working on his citizenship. So don't come at me with your b.s. I don't care what you have to say. My husband has been here legally for over 20 yrs and had his permanent residency status way before we married. I do care about my country but it does have a very screwed up immigration policy like it or not.
