Chanting in both English and Spanish and wielding U.S. and Mexican flags, an estimated 400 to 450 people participated in the 2-mile parade that began at Courthouse Park on Van Ness Avenue and Tulare Street around 6 p.m. Many held signs of protests that read "The time is now -- Stop deportations" and "Stop separation of family."

These people come here, and leave their wife and children behind, start an entire new family...stay here and skip out on grandma's funeral, miss grandpa's funeral, fail to return to bury their older sister, miss out on their first set of children's milestones because working under the table while collecting welfare benefits is more important, but they want to argue separation of family! They are correct, we should work towards conserving the sanctity of family by sending them all home to reunite with their families! Get out! Get out! Get out! Take your welfare meal-ticket-alien babies with you!

Enforce Act of 2014, HR 4138 introduced by Rep. Trey Gowdy (R-SC) may do the trick. It's a bill to enforce our immigration laws already on the books. Email, call or write your representatives to take a look a serious look at it. This could discourage illegals from coming here. After all, those that have applied to come her legally have to obey these laws.

I'm not sure where you got your info or if you know the much of whats really happening. Its all about money bro, do you know how much money the illegals send home every week to Mexico? Billions pal and they've been doing it for sometime. Also, NAFTA was a big contributor to Illegal Immigration... suddenly it became cheaper to import fruit and other goods from the USA into Mexico which killed all the labor jobs in places like Machocane "don't remember the spelling" sorry. So all those families lost their jobs. If you were in that position as a "father/bread winner" - What course of action would you suggest? Applying for a legal visa takes years and in the meantime you're family is starving. So you cross the border and live in squaller/slums and you spend 5 bucks a day on yourself and send the rest home to feed your family. I'm not giving you my opinion here, this is cold hard fact.

My name is Brandon, I came to the USA legally 18 years ago and I was unjustly sent a deportation notice because of a paper shuffle, today my wife and kids are all citizen, all done legally and I'm still trying to find out what the F happened. My online status is pending but someone somewhere screwed up. I'll gladly post a picture of my 850+ page immigration folder and a invoices of nearly $30,000 spent on immigration attorneys. The system is broken dude, I'm caught in the machine now supporting myself and sending the rest of my earnings into the States to support my wife and kids. Explain to me how that fair?

I run a business in the states employing American citizens whom we treat like family and they feel the same way... Explain to me how its fair that have to wait and have been waiting or 2 years to get my situation resolved???

Instead of listening to republican, follow the money dude. Billions per week goes out of the country, if that didn't happen it would be a huge boost to the local economy, plus its good to enforce the rule of law so the illegals can come out of the woodwork including the scumbag criminals.

Anyway I have maybe a year or more to wait before I can go home to my wife and kids, see my dogs, take of things in a home I own and continue to grow my business... But the system is F'ed up, its broken. I am a professional highly skilled IT person with a business and bank accounts and houses and cars in America and I can't go home. I gotta wait... Seriously, uncool !!!!!
