You see how you are? One cannot take your paranoia ignorance seriously. Obama is not confiscating anything from you. If anything is being taken from you it was in fact a lawful tax passed by the House of Reps, passed by the Senate and signed into law by Obama.
So now that you know the way a law is created... I have to wonder why you're so darn stup*d to blame Obama for something that a majority of "We the People" agreed to.
f er how about you read what the guy said! You just screwed yourself with this point. Obama is not confiscating anything? Like he$$ he ain't. It's, like the man hinted, you better button up if you think SS will not be confiscated. You think like you do because you are a welfare recipient.

You're semiliterate. Did I make you angry? I can't imagine why that would be.

I never condemn the poor for being poor or the social welfare safety net from preventing hunger because I think America is better than that and that our TRULY disabled and disadvantaged children and elderly, along with the long term unemployed who REALLY want a job, should not go hungry or without a roof over their heads or health care when they're truly sick.

I support the President's efforts in that respect as well as his efforts on behalf of the middle class because the other side of the aisle has chosen to support the elite above the good of the country. That's my opinion. You can have yours.

As you know full well, not only am I not an idiot, I am one great big old pain in the azz to those of your ilk who refuse to think or acknowledge facts and hard evidence even when it's presented to you on a platter.

I don't see Obama as my Messiah, nutcase. I'm a Christian, and Obama is but a figurehead, albeit one we ELECTED President by majority vote as well as by a majority of the electoral college. He won fair and square, and I have no reason to suspect we were "just kiddin'" and really meant we wanted Mitt Romney. We clearly rejected his ideas. Consequently, you have no point and no rebuttal worth salt.

<quoted text>You can keep on pretending that you actually believe half the garbage you post here these days, but we both know better. I don't care what you say about me, DP. It's a d*mned pity that your integrity crumbled like a dried up cookie simply over an egotistical snit fit. I'm not even a liberal socialist by classic definition. I am SOCIAL liberal which means that I don't care about your physical characteristics or personal choices which are none of my business unless you harm a child or impose your will on others or do things that cause harm to innocents. What you smoke or drink or do with your partner at home and in private is none of my business, and I'd like and expect the same consideration.
Generally, I am either moderate or conservative fiscally, but these days I am appalled by the degree and extent of inequality in America, and I want nothing whatsoever to do with any policies that either continue to perpetuate it or accelerate it or justify it. I's wrong, alarming, and if not reversed, it will destroy this nation and turn it into something NOBODY will recognize and everybody will abhor.
September 28th, huh? Do you realize how petulant you are with this feud you have with Jaxx? Do you not understand how unbalanced that seems to many of us?
At any rate, being hostile and angry with the wrong people and having the wrong focus is the hallmark mentality of the lunatic far right fringe whose claims to fame have degenerated into vulgarities, profanity, sexual perversity and complete mental blocks along with denial of truth. There is no form of discrimination and prejudice they haven't evidenced even when they have their specific obvious "hate" preferences. You just sit there beside them while they whisper in emails and PM's about your children who some reject just as others overtly reject anybody who is black or brown skinned. Some father you are, huh? Over what? Your ego?
Look, DP. I AM an old lady of 65 - feisty and still upright for now. I look pretty good for my age according to the people in my life, and have never ever denied my age or pretended otherwise. I'm not ashamed. I'm grateful for every year of life I've lived. Nobody is perfect, but when you live long enough, some degree of what may be nothing more than "the fruitcake lady" wisdom is just second nature, because I've passed through time you're still traversing, and I probably have twenty-five years more experience.
You really should try to differentiate between ego and character and principle and start by being honest in your views. There is no way you can believe what you said before and believe what you say now. Know who you are and own it.
yea, yea, we have heard it all. You have no class. You don't show it on here. Anyone can be all they want on the www! You are proof of that. Buzzzzz urd!

First off. My Autistic son doesn't wet the bed. He is really clean. He takes five to twelve baths every day. My water bill alone averages $150 per month.
Secondly, Because of my household income, my autistic son received ZERO in SSDI until he turned 18. Even then I have to take Social Security to Court to get him less than $500 per month.
My son has autism. He doesn't talk. He tears his clothing up every day. He rips his bedding up every day. He rips a mattress up at least three times each year. I had to build a separate structure off the house to store groceries because if I keep them in the house, my autistic son will turn it all into garbage at night when I'm asleep.
I have spent over $100K just making my home Autistic proof. That was my money. Not the taxpayer. You want to talk about me being a government employee. So effing what? I do a job and I expect to get paid. If People like me didn't do the job I have been doing for the past 30 years, you and yours would be living in a war zone. I keep the wars in our enemies land so my people don't have to dodge bombs and bullets.
People like you are phucktards who lie through your teeth. You claim to support the military only because it's politically correct. You hate people like me and you are jealous that you couldn't do what I have done.
You talk about how compassionate you are with one side of your mouth only to chastise a parent of a severely disabled child.
The ONLY service that the taxpayers provided to my family while my son was a minor was something called "Home and Community Based Services" (HCBS)
That so called service consisted of a case manager who would come to the house once every four months asking us to sign her paper showing that she was here. They gave us a personal care attendant who happened to be the daughter of the case manager. She was supposed to come ver to provide respite care so that my wife could have some free time but anytime we needed her to come over, she was busy. When we called the regional office informing them of the problems, the HCBS case manager took us to court. That's the kind of "assistance" that our tax dollars gives to people with disabilities.
Once my son turned 18, the effing people from HCBS tried to steal our autistic child. I had to spend thousands of dollars to get a court order protecting my family from the socialist phucktards from HCBS. I had to take the socialists at the public schools to court to keep them from profiting off of denying my child an appropriate free public education. I've had a lot of experience dealing with the socialists who steal taxpayer dollars intended to help people with disabilities.
You and your effing socialist buddies would jump all over anyone who said the "N" word or called a homosexual a fag, but you blatantly disrespect the parent of a disabled child and act as if it's alright.
You show your true colors and those colors are BLACK.
1) You told us earlier that you didn't receive any government assistance for your son.

2) Now you tell us that you took the government to court because they wanted to give you too much money to meet your son's special needs.

3) If your son is as disabled as you say, he would have been eligible for various types of assistance prior to turning 18 regardless of your income.

4) If the people that were supposed to assist you with your son's need took you to court, they must have suspected you of some kind of wrong doing or neglect.

5) If they tried to take your child from you once he had turned 18, they must have suspected that weren't providing him with what he needed as an adult with special needs.

I'm sorry DP, but contradictions in your story aside, it sounds to me like the state/county has been concerned about the care and supervision your son has received under your watch and considering some of what you've said here it appears they may have had good reason.

Happens on topix sometimes so I'll get back to it after we eat because there are some holes in this little diatribe that you could drive a truck through.

That having been said, one thing that strikes me as odd is that in all of this you have yet to mention any of the resources available to autistic, military dependents.

You claim to have retired from the military, you claim to still be working for the DOD and yet, when it comes to the resources specifically available to families in your situation...not one word.

I just mentioned this because it seemed odd that a man looking after the best interest of his child, and already telling us all about the assistance you receive, doesn't seem to even be aware of the resources that are available to your family and your son if you have in fact had the military career and currently hold the position that you claim.

Like I said, I'll be back.

ACLJ Calls on Secretary Kerry to Secure Release of American Pastor Saeed Abedini Before Entering into an Agreement with Iran

(Washington, DC)– The American Center for Law and Justice (ACLJ), which is working to secure the release of American Pastor Saeed Abedini from an Iranian prison, today urged U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry to secure the release of American Pastor Saeed Abedini from an Iranian prison before executing any agreement with Iran.

In a letter to Secretary Kerry,[http://media.aclj.org/p df/aclj_kerry_letter.pdf] the ACLJ explains that Pastor Saeed remains imprisoned in Iran’s Rajai Shahr Prison – a facility where has was transferred to earlier this month – a facility where prisoner on prisoner violence, including murder, is routine.

The ACLJ says this is the time to act – before any deal is signed with Iran.“During current negotiations, which will likely result in relaxed sanctions against Iran,

the failure to secure the release and return of Mr. Abedini and the other Americans would be reprehensible,” the letter states.

This is what the "jobs bill" was all about.

"Before a joint session of Congress, the president announced a package of tax cuts for employers and employees, spending on schools and roads, aid to states to keep teachers in jobs, and assistance for the unemployed."

Spending on schools, roads, teachers are all government jobs which are paid for by taxpayers. They already make more money than the average American worker and have better benefits. Assistance for the unemployed does not create job and if my memory is correct, the unemployed got around 2 years of unemployment benefits to begin with.

Thousands Serving Life Without Parole for Nonviolent Crimes
http://abcnews.go.com/blogs/headlines/2013/11...
For more than 3,000 people, nonviolent crimes including siphoning gas from a truck and shoplifting three belts from a department store landed them in prison for life.

In a newly released study, the American Civil Liberties Union (ACLU) found that more than 3,200 prisoners are serving life sentences without parole for nonviolent offenses.

The report included suggestions for local and federal government on how to change sentencing rules.
