I am still waiting for Jax to bring the post forward where I said he was never in the armed forces. He has accused me of saying such.

<quoted text>I disagree with you about how the rich handle their money. Over time, they have used their money to buy policies that afford them more tax shelters and tax credits not available to the non-investor class of salaried and wage workers in America. Of course, we could see that clearly with Mitt Romney and the "one year's tax returns" he was willing to display. Although Mitt indicated he'd be forthcoming, we saw clearly that he didn't claim all the deductions to which he was entitled or he would have lowered his tax liability to about 14% if memory serves me.
American business (there are INDIVIDUALS in the mix there) have parked huge sums offshore and shielded profits from taxes:

U.S. companies are making record profits. And more of the money is staying offshore, and lightly taxed.

(See the total profits held offshore by 60 big U.S. companies in 2012 and 2011.)
A Wall Street Journal analysis of 60 big U.S. companies found that, together, they parked a total of $166 billion offshore last year. That shielded more than 40% of their annual profits from U.S. taxes, though it left the money off-limits for paying dividends, buying back shares or making investments in the U.S. The 60 companies were chosen for the analysis because each of them had held at least $5 billion offshore in 2011.(cont.)
Okay. More to come.
What you mean to say is that since liberalism has made government the "go to" place for corruption, pay offs and bride, people naturally flock there. When government can pick winner & losers they force people to deal with them to survive. There's nothing at all surprising about this.

I never said the capitalism makes people into saints. That's YOUR philosophy that believes they can do that. On the contrary, we in fact believe because you CANNOT make people into saints, you instead harness their natural self-interest. You do this using a system in which the inefficient, phony and dishonest fail in the marketplace. Yes, there will always be a Bernie Madoff or some other such scumbag. But a dozen of them will do a lot less damage than just one Barney Frank.

The Russians and the Chinese have abandoned socialism. They are in fact just large fascist countries that use a few buzz words and lots of propaganda to hide that fact.(You do remember that Nazi comes from "National Socialist German Worker's Party"?) Their economies are roaring back as they harness people's natural self-interest. Capitalism without a decent code of laws, bill of rights or democracy is basically fascism. It's amazing how often socialism degenerates into fascism, almost as if they were cousins! Want a fast track to fascism? Get some socialism first!

Anyway, we are headed in the opposite direction, despite 50 years of socialism's failure in the US. Unsurprisingly, it's continuing to fail. Even less surprising, you morons are complaining that it's because we need MORE taxes, regulations, give-away programs, redistribution and other such nonsense. Pathetic.

As to money overseas, again it is not sitting static. Somebody is using it for something. Capital avoids failure, corruption and confiscation. That's what Obama promises to do with it once he gets his grubby, stupid hands on it. You're complaining because you liberals set the neighborhood on fire and people are fleeing in order to save themselves!

Oh my! A double screw up. I posted a correction to a post that I apparently failed to post properly in the first place.

Ok then! I am now qualified to be one of Obama's closest advisers. I could run the Department of Redundancy Department. They're in charge of making sure that the worst of our regulations appear in multiple agencies. The real tour de force is when we can get those regulations to contradict each other, meaning you're guilty no matter what you do!

Uh.... crap.... now the original post has appeared. A triple screw up. Now I am qualified to be President of the United States. I'm only a bit African and was not born in Kenya or Hawaii, but I did stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night!

Per your request of recent days, here is the information you requested. Sir, as you stated, so many denied this ever taking place. As with so much, the record of many is indexed and filed by your company. Upon request, the firm has it all.

Glad to know you've been able to move on and find something productive to do with all that spare time you have on your hands.

I guess we can all look forward to another day of name calling, stomping of feet and gay slurs from the great champion of "liberal" causes huh?

Anyway, welcome back, have fun and try not embarrass yourself this time.

You will say anything to put the blame on someone else. The fact remains. You graphically depicted, in detail a sex act being performed on a child. That in itself was an unnecessary and "maladaptive" behavior. It's not the first time you have posted something completely perverse and unacceptable. How is it anyone else's fault for confronting you about it? It's not. It's just your typical attempt to deflect the responsibility of your perversion to someone else.
"...You graphically depicted, in detail a sex act being performed on a child. That in itself was an unnecessary and "maladaptive" behavior..."

It was down right creepy is what it was.

Let's face it, we're talking about a man that claims to have driven cross country, gone to the homes of two of the people that post here, made contact with their family members without letting anyone know who he was or what he was up to, taken photographs of them and listened in on their private conversations...and then he decides to tell us all exactly how he would molest a child "if" he was a "female" pedophile.

How delusional does he have to be not to understand just how sick that makes him appear the rest of the world?

If the intended "effect" was to brand yourself as a total perv, get your posts deleted, your account banned and give every decent person that was exposed to this disgusting fantasy of yours good reason to believe you might very well be a danger to society...mission accomplished dude.

UN:'Convincing evidence' of Syria chemical attack

U.N. inspectors said in a report Monday there is "clear and convincing evidence" that chemical weapons were used on a relatively large scale in an attack last month in Syria that killed hundreds of people...

...The inspectors said "the environmental, chemical and medical samples we have collected provide clear and convincing evidence that surface-to-surface rockets containing the nerve agent sarin were used ... in the Ghouta area of Damascus" on Aug. 21.

"The conclusion is that chemical weapons have been used in the ongoing conflict between the parties in the Syrian Arab Republic, also against civilians, including children, on a relatively large scale," the inspectors said in their report to Ban.

"This result leaves us with the deepest concern," the inspectors said...

Impossible. Chance the Gardener is a walking, talking embarrassment all by himself. He can't help but embarrass himself every time he posts his long winded, inane, idiotic, clueless drivel on here. He sounds a lot like Jay Carny.

Is amusement an emotion because that's about all I'm feeling over you little meltdown right now.

Seriously, I made one simple comment and here you are at least a week later still bent out of shape and unable to focus on anything else.

Focus Chauncey, you're letting yourself be distracted from your "mission" and you're not going to accomplish anything beyond making yourself look like a fool.

It's good advice if your smart enough to take it. I have my doubts, but still...

1 suspect dead in Navy Yard shooting; 2 others may be on loose, police chief says

One suspect is dead after a shooting at the Washington Navy Yard, but two others may be on the loose, the D.C. police chief said Monday.

"The big concern for us right now is that we potentially have two other shooters that we have not located at this point," Washington Police Chief Cathy Lanier told reporters.

Lanier said authorities were looking for a white man and a black man in military-style clothing who could be connected to the shooting.

"We have no information to believe that either of those folks are military personnel, but we do have information that those individuals are wearing military-style uniforms," she said.

Earlier Monday, Ed Zeigler, director of public affairs for Naval District Washington, told CNN that two suspected shooters were "down," but a senior Navy official could not confirm whether there was more than one gunman.

Reports say that there are "multiple" deaths and at least 10 injured.
