<quoted text>How incredibly removed you are from what the role of government is which is contained in the Preamble to the Constitution:
"We the people of the United States, in order to form a more perfect union, establish justice, insure domestic tranquility, provide for the common defense, promote the general welfare, and secure the blessings of liberty to ourselves and our posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America."
Now, that specifies the role of government which IS, indeed, to do something to SERVE the citizens of the United States of America.
The Constitution further details the role of government in SERVING this nation's citizens.
You seem to think we should operate as an anarchy with every man, woman and child to fend for themselves. Such utter boolsheet you spew. While I do not see my government as mother or father, I do believe we go to the polls to elect representatives to serve those interests described in the Preamble and spelled out in detail in the Constitution.
Whatever you had in mind, it seems you miss the point of why there even IS a Federal Government.
You have a problem with understanding words in their proper historical context. You also think that "serving" means lining citizen up so that they can dine for free at the government's trough. There was never any intent to form a welfare system as you envision it. That's laughably stupid and shows your lack of education.

Looks to me like Jax was creating a conflict of interest with topix by trying to divert posters to his own personal blog.
That is how I see it, IMHO!
You know, Using topix to promote his own blog site.
Seems to me that alone would be a violation of topixs' TOS.
But then again he might have always been a user for all I know, just like you and the rest of the moochers.

Nope and nope. I don't have a problem at all. You seem to though. I almost always post exactly what I think, but if you need clarification next time, just ask. I know that serving doesn't mean free lunch, you mentally deficient malcontent.

We have a social welfare system. I just don't think we need a corporate welfare system. I think those entities are already participants under capitalism and SHOULD be allowed to fail and be replaced by good business models run efficiently that lead to profits. Where I think the free market capitalism economic model doesn't fully afford 100% participation is with individuals who are either dysfunctional, lazy, handicapped, elderly, infirm, disabled, or somehow incapable of successful participation. That's why we instituted a social welfare system in order not to ignore the limitations of an otherwise wonderful economic model.

You should stick to discussing you own beliefs. I can handle my thoughts which most reasonably lucid folks have little trouble following without your inaccurate translations - even when they disagree. Get back in your skin, sock puppet troll.

After reading a lot of the post here I have come to the conclusion most of us don’t know the difference between Rights & Privileges. And according to the US Constitution they are greatly different.
1. We have the Bill of Right to Freedom of Religion, Speech and Press. Let’s not forget the hot one The Right to Bear Arms.
2. We have all the amendments like Civil Right and Women’s Suffrage.
There are in total 27 Amendments for those of you not in the know. Now the privileges are too many to name, 1000’s of them. Here are some questions for you:
Right or Privilege:
A. Free movement
B. Flying
C. Drinking Alcohol
D. Driver License
E. Own a Weapon
F. Own a House
G. Vote
H. Quite Enjoyment
I. Health Care
J. Food Stamps
K. Public Housing
L. Schooling K-12
M. Press
The answer is Right-Privlage-Right-Privlage- Right-Right-Right-Right-Privla ge-Privlage-Privlage-Privlage- Right. I will understand why some of you won’t know the difference. Please understand privileges are at the whims of the government. And President Obama would love nothing more than you to believe a Right is a Privilege and a Privilege is a Right. When any of these rights are taken away we are diminished and have to be more reliant on the government. To succeed or fail is at our own accord.
A. Free movement is unabridged
B. Flight is not
C. 21 Amendment (Repeal of 18 Amendment) It is a right
D. Driving a vehicle is a privilege but owning one is a right
E. Second Amendment
F. Right to own property
G. 13,14,15,19 &26 Amendments
H. The right to own property
I. Privilege controlled by congress
J. Privilege controlled by congress
K. Privilege controlled by congress
L. Privilege controlled by congress
M. First Amendment Right
AS far as I am concerned this is the Presidents biggest failure is trying to confuse Rights with Privileges

Air Force chaplain Lt. Col. Kenneth Reyes recently caused quite a kerfuffle for writing about faith on his website, titled ‘Chaplain’s Corner.’ Lt. Col. Reyes is assigned to Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson. His article told the story of the phrase,‘There are no atheists in fox-holes,’ a paraphrase of an older statement that dated to WWII and which was re-stated by President Eisenhower in 1954.- See more at: http://girlsjustwannahaveguns.com/2013/07/the...

I have no problem with you posting what you think. In fact, I encourage it. But what your thoughts are mostly made up rubbish, revisionist history and liberal fantasies. That you don't know that shows how uneducated you are. I can't help that. But I can let you and others know that your "facts" are bogus. You are simply posting untruths.

You and POS read that thread all the time, and you saw that people were having civil discussions and getting along just fine. You couldn't stand that, so you eliminated it. The thread was harmless, but you big babies with your control issues just have to have your way.

Now deny it like the liars you are.

Student locked in room at DEA facility for 5 days to get $4.1 million
http://www.latimes.com/news/local/la-me-dea-s...
Chong and eight suspects were taken into custody for interrogation. After being questioned briefly at the DEA facility in San Diego, he was told he would soon be released.

But, for reasons that remain unclear, Chong was left for five days in a 5-by-10-foot windowless room without food, water or toilet facilities. He quickly lost weight and was able to slip out of a pair of handcuffs.
