Contributing to the life of this thread, I must admit is the dumbest thing that I've been doing. But it does have one redeeming factor. It keeps most of these wingnuts in one cage.
And it's fun to laugh at them besides.

There are no neighborhoods of "illegal Mexicans" and every other house has a car on blocks right in the middle of the front yard.
LOL! Guess she was describing her neighborhood. I doubt she's ever been out of KY. She thinks Google is a country.

It's been fun. Have a good night, Jax.

You misquoted me to suit your point. I spoke of oppression because someone is different from them, not blanket oppression.
I don't see hordes of gay people demanding approval, but I do see homosexuals demanding equality in rights/freedoms to heterosexuals. Can you hold/express your beliefs and at the same time, allow gay folks to have equality? Do we really want govt telling any of us who we can and can't love, or marry, or whatever we want to do with our lives, as long as we don't hurt others?
No, I didn't misquote you.

You were caught in your own words.

Gays can have equality as others who are not married. You do know there are many straights that are living with each other and donot get the benefits of marriage. Is this discrimination against them. Why does a gay want to be married when it is a ritual act created by GOD?

Why just have laws that say one gay person can have the same entitlements of a married person as in tax benefits, medical health care coverage, etc.?

Why do they want something Biblical when it states in the Bible, homosexuality is an abomination?

Doesn't make sense.

Illegal <<--<<< Immigration to Kentucky

With a rise of 150 percent the USCIS projects that 15,000 illegal immigrants resided in Kentucky as of 2000. Kentucky continues to draw in illegal immigrants to the state every spring and fall as illegal aliens arrive to plant and harvest crops. Many illegal immigrants end up living in overcrowded or substandard housing, as many are not able to afford housing on their wages.

In 1999, Kentucky requested compensation of $643,000 from the federal government towards the incarceration of illegal immigrants.

However, Kentucky taxpayers were responsible for $395,000 as the federal government only paid $248,000 in compensation.

Gay Marriage Laws in Kentucky

In Kentucky, gay marriage is not currently legal. In fact, the state currently has the Defense of Marriage Act written into their Constitution and the state's law.

The state's Constitution defines marriage as a union between a man and a woman in Section 233A.

the defense of marriage requires a constitutional ...

It is my belief that marriage is a sacred commitment between a man and a woman, and is the foundation of the traditional family. Therefore, I support an amendment to the Constitution that would define marriage as a union between a man and a woman.

An amendment to the Constitution is not to be undertaken lightly, but the preservation of marriage rises to the level of national importance.

"I Hope Obama Fails" Just Took On a Whole New Meaning

Many Dems and liberals who were paying attention could see what was going on: the Republicans were saying that Obama's presidency was going to be a failure, and they were doing their damnedest to make sure of it. There was nothing, absolutely nothing, that Obama could do that was seen as good or right in the eyes of the Republican Party, and they fostered this perception to their rank-and-file. Even the congratulations that some Republicans gave Obama for the killing of Osama bin Laden were muted at best, and many gave him no credit at all for it, even when he was was given truly high praise by the admiral in charge of our SpecOps forces. What brought on this intolerance, this hatred of everything Obama says or does?
