In 1866 we had our first national law on citizenship (Civil Rights Act of 1866), it states "all persons born in the US and not subject to any foreign power are citizens".
The 14th amendment was written from the Civil Right Act, so when you see "and subject to the jurisdiction, thereof" this simply means "not subject to any foreign power".

Again, cite the case, or federal statute that states a child born in the U.S. is subject to the jurisdiction of the country of his parents.

Very simple, Obama's father wasn't a US citizen, we practice the same law, all children born offshore of American fathers are US citizens.
