I really haven't noticed the government involvement going from private insurance to self-pay to medicare.. It just seems like when I was self-pay there was alot less visits.. Of course my private insurance was a PPO and now I have a HMO and need referrals.. ACA did or does nothing to address the wasted doc visits at no doubt a hundred bucks a pop..

There was a President who said "You are either with us...or...you are with the terrorists"! There there was a smear campaign attacking anyone who questioned the neoconservatives calls for war. You have got to remember that the lock step republicans held a majority in the house and senate and they also held the white house and had a republican appointed supreme court. Total control of all three branches of government and the corporate war profiteers own the media. There was only one person in the united states congress who voted against the war in Afghanistan and that was Rep. Barbara Jean Lee (D) California. Everyone else were bullied into voting to go to war.
Why are you giving yourself props?? Anyway YES he was right in fact.. The simple fact Bush kept us safe.. You might not like it but its a fact.. Tell me would you support Obama and a coalition going after NK if the time comes??

No, dummy, he's a realist. You can't just borrow & spend till the cows come home. It's been tried before by others and it just doesn't work. Americans are NOT special in any way, other than being formerly free (before you libs brought us socialism, that is). We can and will collapse just like any other country that spends trillions it does not have.
Here's our future: Argentina
http://survivalpreparednessblog.com/can-ameri...
If you're smart (and you seem to be), you'd have your own plans & preparations. It ain't going to be pretty. I think most Americans haven't got a clue. YOU are a foolish dreamer if you think our insanity will not have consequences. If you choose to rely on Uncle, best of luck to you. You'll need it and then some.
Our economy is fine. While our debt is high, the deficit (which is basically the difference between liabilities and revenues and a more accurate measure of fiscal stability than debt alone—sort’a like one have a big debt, but it’s offset by a large salary) has been reduced by a third from $1.4 trillion in 2009 (10.1% of GDP), to $1.03 trillion (6.2% GDP) thus far in 2013. Today there are 4.7 million more people working than in 2010, which has increased the tax revenue and thus contributed to the deficit reduction.

Further, as we did with WWII (a debt our nation never repaid) we can grow out of it. And that’s exactly what going on right now. Won’t happen overnight, it’ll take decades, like it did to grow out of our WWII debt.

You fall for the classic mistake of comparing household debt to gov’t debt. Not the same. Gov’ts and corporations live on debt and have forever to make money and pay that debt off. Households don’t.

So relax. Kick your shoes off and whip it. Whip it good.

I gave myself props for 10 points.

Bush kept us safe from what? He allowed us to be attacked on 911 then used that as an excuse to invade and occupy Afghanistan and Iraq. His VP gave his own companies no bid contracts worth hundreds of billions after convincing congress that his lies about WMD's weren't lies but we know now that they were lies.

NO EFFING WAY IN HELL should we invade and occupy North Korea. That area belongs to China, South Korea and Japan. Let them deal with it. There is no reason for the US to get involved in ground wars period. Of course Obama knows that and he will do the right thing when it comes to foreign affairs. I'm sure of it.

Thats pure stupitity.. Does the dumbass in the WH not understand economics and inflation?? Fine give all Americans a raise and adjust all those on fixed incomes as well..

Students Told to Stop ‘USA!’ Chant, Take Off American Flag Bandanas
By Andrew Johnson
February 13, 2013 4:04 P.M.

Four California high-school students were reportedly suspended for chanting “U.S.A! U.S.A!” and wearing American flag bandanas during a basketball game. While their punishment has since been rescinded, school administrators said “the incident is far from over.”

Oxnard Union School District superintendent Gabe Soumakian told Fox News Radio that “we need to pursue this further” and “work with teachers and students and the community about the concept of cultural proficiency.” Soumakian and Camarillo High School principal Glenn Lipman felt that the students’ actions might have had racist undertones since the schools have large Hispanic student populations.

“We wanted to make sure [their actions weren't] racially motivated, and I told the kids I just want to be sensitive to the feelings of everybody,” Lipman said.“If we’re doing it for patriotism, that’s fine. But if we’re doing it for something else that’s racially motivated, I’m not going to allow that.”

But the students deny any racial element to their chants.“We’ve done it always,” one student said.“It’s something we do. It’s the same group of friends. We’re all very patriotic.” The four students gained support from their peers: More than 100 students gathered by the school’s flagpole the following morning to protest in patriotic clothing.

Obama made these comments with nearly four dozen victims of gun violence and their families in attendance, including former Rep. Gabrielle Giffords (D-Ariz.) and her husband Mark Kelly. In response, scores of lawmakers rose to their feet during a crescendo of applause.
"They deserve a vote. They deserve a vote. They deserve a vote," Obama said. "Gabby Giffords deserves a vote. The families of Newtown deserve a vote. The families of Aurora deserve a vote. The families of Oak Creek, and Tucson, and Blacksburg, and the countless other communities ripped open by gun violence, they deserve a simple vote."
Guess Obama included Kyle in the "countless other communities ripped open by gun violence" part of his speech. Probably where he has Chicago, too.
My question is, don't the law abiding citizens who have thwarted violent offenders by using their legally owned and registered guns also deserve a vote?
Damned good question, sir. Any of you obama humping liberals got an explanation?

Just a little overly optimistic aren't you? It's not like a liberal to be optimistic. Why, when Bush was President you said 4% unemployment was the depths of recession, now we have 7.9% and everything's coming up roses. Hey, get your Chinese calculator and see what happens to our debt once interest rates go up, let's say to 5%, still relatively low, check out the interest payments.

Yes, yes, you're repeated this lie many times on Topix. We're still spending money we don't have at a rate surpassing anything in human history. Whoever started it, Obama is in charge now. He alone is responsible for what happens from early 2009 onwards. Nobody else is.
You're whole agrument seems to be: "Others did it, so why not Obama too?" As if joining stupidity is not still stupidity. If that doesn't work, you say: "Well, Obama is not killing our economy at nearly the rate others did." Yes, Obama will only drain our LAST drops of blood. When we collapse, he can say he didn't start the bleeding...he just finished it.
You're proud of that? THAT is what your hopes are pinned on? LOL!

Of course, but they don’t deserve special recognition for it, which is what you’re reaching for. Lawful gun owning citizens are doing nothing but trying to protect their own personal interest to own a gun because it’s protected by the 2nd Amend.

This is no different than an individual who is doing nothing but trying to protect his personal interest to call someone the “N” word because it’s protected by the 1st Amend.

They both get a vote, but it’s not because of what they believe in.

Belligerent insults and regurgitated righty rhetoric is his M.O. He's not good for much else.

It seems that he makes a fool of himself under one name, then logs in under another name and pretends he's someone else.

It might be effective if he didn't act like the same ranting lunatic under all his aliases. ;)
