So says you, a budding Stalin in the making. Who said this?
"As soon as by one's own propaganda even a glimpse of right on the other side is admitted, the cause for doubting one's own right is laid." - Adolf Hitler... though it could have been said by you!
Tolerance? Your philosophy has none. As for your and Rico's idiotic "all or nothing" scenarios, that's just nonsense.[Intact is one word, so keep "in" and "tact" intact please.]
Slavery returning? Why, yes, it has been back a number of times since the Civil War. National Socialism used it, as did the Union of Soviet Socialist Republics. The nice little socialist nightmare in North Korea is using it now - for those they haven't yet starved to death. Hmmmm.... what's the common denominator? SOCIALISM! Everyone of those horror shows thought they were bringing your lovely socialism to the world.
Oh, you thought slavery meant black people ONLY. Actually, considering Hitler and Stalin's tens of millions of slave laborers, those alive today who remember being slaves are almost entirely white folks. All that due to socialism. Aren't you proud? If you don't like your progenitors, that's not my fault.
LOL

I completely understand why you would like to divert the focus of the shames perpetrated in this country, to monsters like Hitler, and Stalin, and the many atrocities that haunt humanity historically, but, let's keep the focus on what my post was about.

Conservatism...and what the U.S would be like had it been at the helm all these years, In THIS country. Not in Germany, not In Russia. We're not talking about madmen here. Were talking about an ideology that excludes, shuns, discriminates, hates, destroys and welcomes ignorance if it means clinging to the status quo.

Unfortunately, it even discriminates against it's own when they refuse to fall into line with the sheer stupidity and hatred of the majority. I know there are some good people in the Republican party determined to salvage and save the party they belong to, but after reading the words of people like you, 119, I can't help but wonder if they are dooming themselves to go down with ship, because if you haven't looked around lately, the ship is sinking.

At this point, making comparisons to historically socialist nations, like Germany and Russia, to scare the masses isn't going to cut it. Thanks to liberalism(education), people know better. It's better that you do what you have to do to keep your party, The "Grand ol Party", intact. Whatever that is at this point ;)

You post is one huge lie, starting with "the" and ending with "is". You've drunk deeply of the liberal kool-aid and no longer have a brain of your own.
Well, as with every far right angry conservative, you are welcome to your ignorance. ;)

Governor Martinez cautioned against treating immigration “as though that’s the only issue that Hispanic voters care about.” She named closing the achievement gap, the ability to work, and the ability to grow small businesses as other top concerns. Governor Sandoval likewise emphasized that Hispanic voters are not a “single-issue electorate,” and shouldn’t be treated as if they were.

Something that is normally great, the idea that you don't judge people for being different than you. The problem arises when liberal douche bags call themselves open minded but actually reject anyone who doesn't believe the same thing they do as a bigot.

Reid, Race, and the Party-Based Double Standard
Watching Gwen Ifill, Al Sharpton and a plethora of African American news reporters and academics on MSNBC defend and excuse Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid's racial slight makes you realize why the Democratic Party can take black voters for granted.
There are absolutely no consequences for liberal elites to have differing public and private views on political issues. The Democratic Party even went so far to dismiss the disparaging comments by Joe Biden about Barack Obama being clean and articulate to nominate and confirm him as Vice President at their convention.
Today, the sitting Vice President stands as the symbol of liberal elite's racial double standard.

It just goes to show you how far down the sinkhole the Republican party is. It is and always will be the greater of two evils because it has earned that distinction through the sheer volume of it's transgressions on race, on inequality, on intolerance. I don't know what you want me to tell you. Where you hoping for a "gotcha" moment?

"behavior economics" - more liberal BS, written by and for liberals, of dubious academic merit and mainly a justification for their dogmatic semi-religion: Socialism. I spit upon it, giving it more respect than it deserves.
Whereas raps songs about your sisters (& mothers) being "bitches & ho's", replacement of the male breadearner by a white female social worker, street drug cheered on by the same rappers (and white rockers), plus 60% out-of-wedlock births is what? Just more "bad" luck?
Behavior has consequences. Get used to it.
Access to good education? Yes, but no vouchers please, as it's more important to liberals that the downtrodden have NO voice in how their schools are run. Why, they'd abandon the sucky ones in droves! Can't have that, can we? It'd expose modern liberal education for the farce that it is.
Poland collapsed in a heap due to their socialism. They had no minority groups or any of the "white noise" the liberals throw up. You can be white, Christian, Western and mono-cultural and still fail, as long as you go for socialism. Attempting a utiopia on earth always ends in disaster. Anytime some poltician says "all our problems can be solved if we just spread the wealth around", you know you are dealing with a total fraud. You're lucky if he's not another Hitler, Stalin, Mao or Pol Pot.
Ok, I see where you're coming from. Very closed minded and not at all receptive to ideas that may disturb your insulated world view, eh Pope Urban VIII?(Pope Urban VIII had the Roman Inquisition force Galileo to recant his crazy new idea of heliocentrism.) I suppose the other thing on your agenda is to condemn all education as liberal (and therefore useless and subversive) because it focuses on science and not on religion.

Vouchers? Do you know the history of vouchers? I doubt it since that would require a liberal education. Let me enlighten you. After Lyndon Johnson forced desegregation on the South, supporters of segregation wanted the government to give their kids vouchers permitting them to attend all white schools. Vouchers have an ugly history and since they are associated and endorsed by a bunch of ignorant, self-serving nitwits who want everyone else to share their ignorant bliss, they have an equally ugly present.

Out of wedlock births? Did you know that behavioral economics has demonstrated that during the time when abortion was more freely accessible that a generation later crime went down? Those unwanted children, that generation of unwanted children, were aborted and were not raised in poverty, which often leads to a life of crime. I know you didn't know that because again, that requires a liberal education.

Utopia? Here on Earth? Never, not as long as we have Republicans.

According to the military, the military will not need to lower its physical standards as it opens direct combat jobs to women.
So regardless of gender, all individuals must be able to carry large numbers of supplies, carry 500 rounds, fill 1000 lbs of sandbags in 1/2 hour, etc
Oops, it appears I ("EYE") misinterpreted your post- my apologies.

<quoted text>Incorrect- Infantry will have some of the highest ASFAB scores you will see. Also, women have a lower ratio of fast-twitch muscle fiber than men, i.e. their stamina will be as high or higher but their muscle mass will be less. "Some" women will ALWAYS be able to outperform "some" men, but combat arms refuses to level the playing field merely for the sake of gender equality.
That's a call I don't know how you made, because the only basis of which I am aware is what you have to score to be accepted. If you're correct, then maybe you're got a whole lotta' chiefs there to act as supervisors for a whole lotta' folks who don't pass muster for the other branches of service. As to which branch will accept who, check for current standards. Most difficult to find acceptance: Air Force followed by the Navy. The standards as to who they take has changed considerably probably since you were enlisted. This will help, but I will also say that I am aware that the Air Force standards as to who they actually WILL take in is actually higher than the link indicates:

Aryan Women
Every child that an Aryan mother brings into the world is a battle waged for the existence of her people.
The program of the National Aryan Woman's Movement has truly a single point - the child.
The sphere and tasks of man and man and woman in life are separate but complimentary. Mutual respect lies in the fact that both man and woman know that each is doing everything which is necessary to maintain the whole national community.
The Aryan way of life is determined not by material considerations but by the soul of a nation. Aryan woman gives herself in conscious idealism to the concept of the national interest before private interest.
The Aryan woman guards the purity of her blood in which reposes her racial instinct and strength, the guarantor of Aryan culture.

Economist? That's just more clueless, ivory tower liberals who can't do anything, so they teach instead. They say the problem is that we didn't spend enough? Sure.
Everytime I max out my credit card, I use my common sense too. Naturally, I come to the brilliant f*cking conclusion that it's because I didn't spend enough!
LOL! You haven't got the common sense God gave a flea.
The mistake you make is a typical one. You can't compare a household's budget and finances to a governments or a corporations. The former has a fixed number of earning-power years and needs to pay off debts within their lifetimes whereas a gov't/corporate lives forever. As such, they can grow out of their debt.

Yeah, that's right, more useless Socialist economics…routinely taught to every student in Intro to Economics. Gee, I guess that makes all educated folks Socialists…or just plain educated. Sorry, but by your own admission, you're neither.

Common sense? It was once common sense to believe that the world was flat.

You know, in truth, I would love to see the Republican party turn things around and really change for the better. Our political system is based on checks and balances so we need them. No one wants a liberal runaway train, that's not how this country works.

I just don't know if the party has it in them. Tradition and status Quo is part of what they are. Lot's of bad blood and resentment.

I just responded to a couple of posts YOU made. You started this. I'm completely innocent of anything aside from the fact that I think you continue to promote yourself as a chauvinist pig. What were you expecting? Applause?

If a woman is motivated to sign up for combat, I say let her go IF she passes the same tests and requirements as her male counterparts. I don't think there should be any diminution of of the qualifications just to accommodate women. Neither do I think it's any of your business if some woman likes combat. We're all individuals finding our ways in life. You're an investor, and I'm an investor. It's just that I also think we have to invest in our human resources. You know what I'm getting at here, don't you? We're not all just some little women baking cookies in the kitchen and standing by our men.

That said, I have been commanded to bake more walnut raisen chocolate chip oatmeal cookies, and I probably should get underway with that soon. He's just lucky to know me;-)
