What approval did you need? You were doing an exemplary job putting and keeping NPR in her place. Same with Rose for that matter.
You know that NPR pulls this crap everytime she feels threatened. All of Topix knows that NPR has to be the center of attraction where her lap dogs can drool all over her. Except Rose.
Just being sarcastic! Just letting NTR know I didn't need her approval to leave since she seems to think she can dictate what we do.

I need to report you for false reporting recommendations, but I figure the Mods have better things to do than come over here and ask you to quit meddling.

Too many proxy trolls, not enough legitimate authentic users. That's the problem. It's hard to distinguish who the players are without a score card, but stilted dialogue that makes it seem /as though the poster has attended Ms. Parson's finishing school and is a righteous Christian woman half the time and a fish wife the other half is reason to pause and reflect. Don't blame me for noticing the obvious.

Besides, it's hard to take anything she says seriously, because no matter how she boasts, it's impossible for me to accept that she was ever The Attorney General of this State. Capiche? That's what she would have to have been to supervise a staff of 30 attorneys in the state. Still, she "knows" what she "knows" and who am I to question her authority? Just a Kentucky woman who is familiar with the laws of the state and who in the state structure falls under whose supervisory jurisdiction. That's about all.

She did all the talking. I just pointed out where the conflict is. Now, either we have somebody with delusions of grandeur, or it's intentional that she attempts to mislead. That leads to other questions. I didn't need to do a thing but read the posts she put up herself right here on Topix on this thread. It took her two days to come up with the only recognizable Department store in her supposed city that isn't a Sears or a Walmart. LOL

How do you come to that conclusion? Was it something I said about your sincere desire to engage in a genuine discussion?

Okay. Maybe you would be willing to opine about your dear friend, HOH's, belief that the Newtown murders are a hoax and that the murderer, Adam Lanza, is actually an innocent victim who, in reality, died the day before the event took place. What say you about that? True or not true?

Everyone knows that all AR15's are possessed by demon spirits causing those that hold them to go berserk.

We need a law requiring all AR15's to be exorcized by a qualified priest to cast out the evil demons. That would stop all these mass murders. I'm sure of it.

A violent Saturday leaves 7 dead

By Adam Sege, Dawn Rhodes and Rosemary Regina Sobol Tribune reporters

6:30 a.m. CST, January 27, 2013

Four shootings -- two of them double homicides -- and a stabbing left 7 people dead Saturday, authorities said.

In what appeared to be the last homicide of the day, a 32-year-old man was fatally stabbed about 11:50 p.m. in the South Shore neighborhood on the South Side, police said.

The stabbing happened during a domestic argument in the 2500 block of East 73rd Street, Chicago Police Department News Affairs Officer Ron Gaines said.

The man, identified by the Cook County medical examiner's office as Willie Wilson of the 2500 block of East 73rd Street, was found unresponsive on the scene. He was pronounced dead there at 11:55 p.m. with a stab wound to the chest.

Less than two hours earlier, about 10:05 p.m., a 38-year-old man was killed in the Englewood neighborhood on the South Side, making him the sixth person shot dead Saturday, police said.

The man, identified as Norman Stokes, of the 6700 block of S. Aberdeen Street, died on the scene, in a vacant building in the 7000 block of South Carpenter Street, authorities said.

Earlier, in the second double homicide of the day, a 16-year-old boy and a 32-year-old man were gunned down about 5 p.m. in the West Garfield Park neighborhood on the West Side, police said.

Officers responded to a call of a person shot in the 4200 block of West Congress Parkway and found the two lying dead outside on the ground, according to the police.

The Cook County medical examiner identified the two as Dimitri Buford, 32, of the 1400 block of North Sedgwick Street in Chicago, and Antonio Fenner, 16, of the 4400 block of of West 15th Street in Chicago.

No one has been arrested.

Police had the crime scene near Genevieve Melody Elementary School taped off at least one block to the north, east and west, while neighbors milled about to get a better look.

On West Van Buren Street, a body could be seen lying in the roadway, near the curb and a bus stop.

A man who only identified himself as the teen victim's uncle said the boy, whose family lived nearby, had simply gone to run an errand.

"He was just going to the store," the man said. "They just killed him just like that."

Later, the man paced back and forth on the sidewalk, shaking his head in disbelief.

"He goes to school and everything," he said to a police officer.

This man and the boy were the 4th and 5th people killed Saturday, and the shooting was the city's second double homicide.

Gangland - Gangster City

A regrettable, tragic side-effect of warfare is known euphemistically as "collateral damage." From Dresden to Baghdad, it is a sad historical commonplace that noncombatants, innocent civilians, will suffer terribly for the misfortune of living in a battle zone.

In Chicago, the collateral damage of gang warfare includes everyday men and women struggling to conduct ordinary lives and, most terribly, children too young to know about the evils of the world, much less to fall victim to them.

In 1992, Dantrell Davis became a household name when the seven-year-old was struck by a sniper's bullet during an all-out gun battle. Dantrell was the third Jenner Elementary School student slain by gangs in a seven month period.

Dantrell's death served as a wakeup call and stirred government and community leaders to action, but was it too late? The level of violence between and among Chicago's gangs was clearly out of control. Officials hoped destroying the city's troubled public housing would bring an end to the carnage being wrought by the factions. Instead, leveling the high-rises only caused the problem to spread.

In this important episode, GANGLAND examines the unimaginably violent environment of Chicago's battle zones and tracks efforts to eliminate deadly gang activity there.

Each and every bullet made contains a little demon inside. I'm starting to think that some knife handles are possessed by demons as well.

We need to get the US Air Force to fly over the country with huge bundles of burning sage and perform a nation wide smudging ceremony to rid ourselves of bad spirits.

You assumed I had an attitude. I don't recall you asking me anything. I actually wasn't speaking to you and wasn't in your face at all.
It is actually you who is copping an attitude which seems to be a pattern for you if everything doesn't go your way. Sorry I didn't meet your expectations. Most people obviously do not.
Actually ya old hag, when you decided to jump on this all I did was point out that obesity is a nationwide problem and very politely asked what was wrong with discussing the facts surrounding the issue and you went all PMS on me.

You got an issue with somebody else that's you're dam* problem, but you were the one that got up in my face after I asked a very reasonable question.

Your issues aren't my problem and in the future I will remember that it was a waste of time trying to treat you like a human being.

Oh, how sad. The poor deluded liberal doesn't know she serves evil.
Look, kiddo, you don't even know what "evil" means. What you think in your heart does not innoculate you from being evil. If that's was true, a deeply committed Nazi concentration camp oven-tender wouldn't be evil, would they? Believing you serve good is NOT the same as actually being good.
You serve socialism, which has killed, tortured and impovrished more humans on this planet than ANY other form of evil dreamed up my man in his entire history. Aiding evil is what you do, whether you realize it or not.
Like most liberals, you have a child's view of who & what is evil. You think they have black hats, yellow teeth and cackle about boiling people in oil. Actually, throughout history most of them have been paper-shuffling bureaucrats. National Socialism killed about 50 million souls. Communism (socialism's kissing cousin) killed about 100 million... so far. You work for those guys, sister. Communism-lite, aka socialism, is what you're all about.
Start shuffling those papers!
LOL!
