ROTFLMAO! I said Obama is a Marxist. I never said he was a good Marxist or a loyal Marxist. I suspect he simply sold out to the fascists because of being offered the presidency - that's a Marxist's wet dream. Got him rich, a place in history, a lot of time to play golf, and an excellent chance to destroy the USA and US capitalism. Of course he is only doing the bidding of his bosses, but he will get the credit for it in history.
Don't forget that Marxists are most often covert subversives. The fascists' and Marxists goals for the destruction of the USA aren't all that different. The interesting part is who will claim the prize after that destruction, and who will win it. The fascists, of course - they hold the power and wealth Marxists can only dream of holding.
But there are those researchers who believe the rise and funding of communism was a social experiment conducted by the cabal of elitists and bankers who have manipulated and partially controlled the world's economy for at least a few centuries. If communism was as much their stepchild as Nazis were, then Obama is in what he would probably consider good company at the top of the power heap.
Obama was trained up as a Marxist and was a card carrying communist party member. He ran for public office as a democrat, but communists don't have any compunction about pretending to run for office as something other than what they are. They are not honest. They are subversives. As Marx and Engels thought that socialism was the form of government that logically precedes communism, I don't see Obama's socialistic policies and his desire to centralize all government as being out of character for a Marxist.
wRONG aGAIN! CFR does not want Marxist leaders , come on IP, they checked with CIA/FBI on Obama background before allowing anyone to join the elite tribe...

Bon Bons, they use lead to make the line weights, or used to. Also, some older lures were made of molded lead and other metals. I would liken older lures to handmade jewelry; there were often multiple moving pieces held together with metal wire. You attached lead weights to the lure or line to set the depth that the lure would go.
I did read once where you said you played a lead base. LOL oh Bonnie

Sorry - perhaps I should have qualified my comment by saying Spain was the first to introduce imported slaves. Native Americans didn't have ocean-worthy vessels. I quite agree with you - slavery was a common practice in the western hemisphere before Europeans ever set foot on it.
Spain deserves most of the credit for slavery and genocide of natives, however its much more PC to blame white northern europeans, fits neatly in with the present agenda of blaming whites for everything and excusing everyone else
s bad behavior, especially blacks.

Ronald Wright,
Broken Promises of America, Douglas. F. Dowd,
When Columbus arrived in 1492, there were approximately 100 million Native Americans-a fifth, more or less, of the human race. Within decades,., most of those people were dead and their world barbarously sacked by Europeans. The plunderers settled in America, and it was they, not the original people, who became known as Americans .... Unlike Asia and Africa, America never saw its colonizers leave.
Europeans generally call the entire Western Hemisphere 'America,' not just the USA. Looks like your author exploits this common misconception so that you will think that the USA is to blame for everything that happened to native Americans in the Western Hemisphere. LOL! And you do. How gullible. There were NOT 90 million people living only in North America when Europeans came. Those 90 million people were spread over the entire hemisphere. If they were centered anywhere, it was in temperate climate zones where living conditions were not harsh and crops to feed large populations could be grown year round - in Central and South America.

"Within decades [ of 1492],., most of those people were dead and their world barbarously sacked by Europeans." So, between 1492, when Columbus arrived in the Indies, and a few decades later, which would be 1532,(giving it 4 decades, rather than three), most of the natives were dead. The plunderers were the Spanish looking for gold during the 1500's. And even they, as warlike as they were, couldn't have slaughtered 90 million people in less than a year. Logistically impossible. They didn't have anywhere close to the number of soldiers, explorers and priests to cover the entire Americas, let alone hack them all to death with their swords, even if they'd had freeways for easy travel. Disease did that, and I doubt very much Columbus and early Spaniards even realized what was happening to the native population. They might have figured it out later, during further exploration, but the damage had already been done.

Since the Brits didn't even have a chartered company on North American soil until the turn of the 1600's, and didn't colonize under British law for another 50 years or so, there weren't many native Americans for the relatively few colonists to find, if most of them were dead before 1532. The Brits who founded the USA in 1776 had nothing to do with the early decimation of the native population you refer to - they couldn't have, and your own source's dates prove it. Later settlers found very old mounds in the Midwest indicating a big population, but even native tribes in the area didn't know who had built them, so those lost people disappeared a long time before anyone from the USA viewed their mounds.

Spain, however, colonized South and Central America far earlier than the British. Even though Spain tried to colonize in what is now the southern USA, it never established a firm foothold, preferring, instead to limit their activities to exploring in their search for gold. Spain certainly never had anything to do with the USA or the British colonies, except as enemies. If you want to blame anyone for your genocide theories, then you'll have to blame the Spanish, or maybe even the very few early Icelandic explorers who sailed the northern coastline as early as 1100 AD. The USA didn't do it - sorry to disappoint you and all your USA-hating buddies.

US Census study finds that rich got richer, poor poorer between 2000 and 2011
A report from the Census Bureau is the latest evidence that the rich are getting richer while the poor get poorer.
The study released Thursday divided the U.S. into five groups, from wealthiest to poorest. The median net worth of the richest households rose 11 percent between 2000 and 2011, to $630,754. The next-wealthiest group's net worth also rose.
But because wealth dropped for the majority of Americans, the median household net worth for the country overall declined about 7 percent to $68,828.
The report was compiled using surveys done by the Census. It includes stocks, money in the bank, home values, retirement accounts and other assets in its measurement of net worth
Wealth rebounds — but mostly for the wealthy
By Rick Newman

The Exchange

America is rich again — if you add up all the money. But a familiar, unhappy tale is playing out as the nation recovers the household wealth lost from 2007 to 2012.

The total amount of household net worth hit a new record of $80.7 trillion at the end of 2013, according to the Federal Reserve. That’s certainly better than the grueling declines that occurred during the twin housing and stock-market busts. But a deeper look at the numbers shows that the kind of wealth held primarily by the affluent — financial assets — has soared beyond prior levels, while the most common middle-class asset — home equity — is still far below prior highs

Still, the flow of money the Fed has been trying to pump into the economy has dried up before trickling down to many middle-class families. Of course, it’s better to have the wealthy back on their feet, in Prada footwear, than to have nobody back on their feet at all. But the middle class still has much further to go before it reclaims its prior level of prosperity. America isn’t quite as rich as the headline number suggests.

The rich get richer, the rest get squat, thanks Barry you douchebagging, hypocritical failure.
