Not very honest are you, especially for a know-it-all.
I am very honest. I had no idea what you were talking about or what "Damien" referred to. You seem to be the one who's a know-it-all. And you certainly know about evil.

I had never read the word before, and I have never felt I was a "know-it-all." You sure seem very angry and hateful for someone who claims to be a Christian I must say.

Why don't you move along and quit harassing me now. Take your aggression out in some constructive way.

I made lots of money as a Soldier...bought my house and paid for the sons university...so what's your point? I could have mowed yards and planted bushes until I moved up to driving a broom. It's not like you have to take any tests or go to school. Or was that your degree? A major in broom operation and a minor in bush planting?
no, lansdscape architecture.

Christians who fled Syria marking Easter in Chicago area
http://www.chicagotribune.com/news/local/ct-s...
On Sunday, Chukro, 51, will celebrate her first Easter in the United States, free of religious persecution and violence. Her sister-in-law — a U.S. citizen — previously filed paperwork to help bring Chukro to the U.S., and she arrived in Chicago with her family in July. They traveled nine hours by bus to Damascus, fearful during frequent stops and searches by armed men they say were part of the terrorist group Al-Nusra Front. They spent a week just over the border in Lebanon before their paperwork was processed in Jordan.

You actually paid somebody to teach you how to plant a bush? Didn't anyone tell you that the instructions come on the container? I didn't go to college for it but I'm creating a food forest right here on my own property. Not for money or nothing like that. I just like doing it. I call it a hobby.

<quoted text>no god of the bible? really?
why do you attempt to talk of things you clearly have no understanding of at all?
No god of any bible, quoran, torah, talmud, or any collection of scripts that describe or otherwise speak of a deity. There is only God in the mind of the individual and that god is the same regardless of individual thought. Like a Jeep "there is only one".
This to me is beyond argument.
You are a collection of canned scripts whom you call yourself Mr Biblequorantorahtalmud. There is no god of you, a mere collection of words. There is only a god of the human who believes.
I am one of these, whether in reality or virtually. You, just inanimate script. I need not believe in you when I believe in a god. Your canned pages of script are under my control just like you are and are connected to me by the same strings as you are.
I wouldn't expect you to understand this but my god does and so do all of my friends and foes alike that believe.
I aspire to sit at the left hand of god because his son and my savior sits at his right hand.
I am sorry you don't.

No. My food forest is real! There are pecan trees, walnut trees, and acorn bearing oaks. There are apple trees, pear trees, cherry trees, plumb trees and peach trees. Grape vines, blueberries, strawberries and blackberries grow along the perimeters of the property. Perennial herbs are planted throughout the property and I have dug ponds and stocked them with catfish, perch, bluegills and and bass. I even have a nice goldfish pond. I've build stone walls meandering along pathways. Not just for aesthetics but for micro climates for plants that like it hot or plants that prefer a little less sun. I do plant annuals too but prefer perennials because I only have to plant them once. Plus the anticipation of watching them pop up each spring is enjoyable as well. Not everything in my food forest is "edible". I have flowers too. There are those who say "if I can't eat it, I won't plant it!", but I look at flowers as food for the soul. Besides, the bees love flowers and I enjoy honey.

Science doesn’t disprove God: Where Richard Dawkins and new atheists go wrong

Richard Dawkins and the new atheists suggest human consciousness can be cloned in a lab. But they can't prove it

Excerpted from "WHY SCIENCE DOES NOT DISPROVE GOD"

Advances in paleontology and physical anthropology since the nineteenth century have brought us close to an understanding of how the human species has evolved over many millions of years—from fish to reptiles, to early mammals, to primates, and finally to a hominid that was remarkable seemingly only for its upright gait. This is indeed an accomplishment; however, these advances have been seized upon by New Atheists to explain away the remarkable arc of human history, whereby we became the creators of breathtaking technological and cultural achievement totally unique in nature.

*

In 1974, the American paleoanthropologist Donald Johanson discovered in the Afar region of Ethiopia one of the most important “missing links” between humans and apes: a three-and-a-half-foot-tall hominid he called Lucy (so named because the Beatles song “Lucy in the Sky with Diamonds” happened to be playing on the tape deck around the time of the discovery). Lucy is part of a genus of hominids called Australopithecus, which have been discovered at various sites in Africa and dated to between 3.9 and 1.7 million years ago. As time progressed, these hominids walked more and more upright (relying less on their arms, as evidenced by their posture and the shortening of the arms) and their cranial capacity increased as they approached human form.

The fossil record, collected, organized, and studied over more than a century by dedicated physical anthropologists and archaeologists, reveals the story of the emergence of human beings on planet Earth. Our common ancestors with chimpanzees seem to have lived in Africa around 7 million years ago. Successive hominids then evolved away from our ape relatives. Australopithecus ramidus is the first of them, dated to about 5 million years ago, followed by Australopithecus anamensis, found in the Turkana region of Kenya, with a larger cranial capacity, living some 4 million years ago. Then came Australopithecus afarensis, found in the Afar region of Ethiopia—Lucy being the prime example of this hominid—walking more upright and with a still larger cranium.....(cont.)
